  2. The titles were held-up after a match against The Fantastics on August 17, 1986 in Tulsa, OK.
  3. Eddie Gilbert & Sting def. The Fantastics in a rematch for the held up titles.
  4. Taylor & Duggan vacated the titles on January 23, 1987 after Duggan lost a Loser-Leaves-UWF match against One Man Gang. Taylor & Adams def. Rick Steiner & Sting in a tournament final for the vacant titles.
  5. The titles were abandoned in November of 1987 when the UWF was absorbed by Jim Crockett Promotions of the NWA.

  1. Buzz Sawyer was chosen by last Mid-South Television Champion, Dick Slater, as the new UWF World Television Champion on March 16, 1986. Slater had already won the Mid-South North American Heavyweight Title on February 26, 1986 in Oklahoma City, OK.
  2. Koloff held the NWA World Television Title when he defeated Taylor for the title in a Title Unification Match.
