WWE Had Plans To Push Jordan Myles Prior To Recent Controversy
Posted: Nov 15th 2019 By: Cassidy Haynes - Bodyslam.net
Jordan Myles/ACH has made headlines as of late after calling out WWE for being racist after releasing a t-shirt for the Superstar which resembled “black face”. The situation escalated earlier this week when Myles took to twitter where he posted a video announcing that he has quit WWE and that he refuses to work for a racist company. He went on to say that he does not want to be referred to as Jordan Myles any longer, that he is once again ACH.
Since then however, he has deleted his twitter.
On a recent episode of Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about the ACH/Jordan Myles situation. He discussed possible landing spots for ACH going forward and suggested that NJPW could be a fit. He also stated that prior to the controversy surrounding his merch, WWE had big plans in place that would have seen Myles receive a big push.
“WWE wanted to push him. They had him win that tournament and he absolutely was going to be a major star on the NXT show. That was the plan. Then it all unraveled, it all unraveled and that’s the basic situation.”
The mess surrounding ACH/Jordan Myles is probably far from over, and we will keep you updated as more information comes out.
