SoCalUncensored.com reported that Reno Scum (Adam Thornstowe & Luster the Legend) have signed with Impact Wrestling.

Jake Hager’s fight against Anthony Garrett Friday night at Bellator 231 ended in a no contest due to illegal low blows from Hager. The referee ruled that both strikes were unintentional and therefore went to no contest rather then disqualifying Hager and awarding the fight to his opponent. The fight did not last long and referee Dan Miragliotta waved it off after less than two minutes on the clock. This was Hager’s third MMA fight for Bellator and remains undefeated even though there’s a small blemish on the record now. The fight opened the main card on Paramount. Santana, Ortiz, and Sammy Guevara from his Inner Circle faction were also at the show and the AEW logo was displayed on the banner. Former WWE World champion Batista was also in attendance and took a photo with all members of the faction. During the post-show press conference, Hager denied illegally hitting the low blow and thought his opponent wanted an excuse to leave the cage. “I’m obviously disappointed with the finish tonight,” Hager said. “I didn’t think I hit him at all. Is it something I’d be interested in running back? I don’t know. It didn’t seem like he wanted to fight tonight, so what’s going change the next time? Is he really going to want to fight next time? I’m a competitor. I’m a fighter. I’m doing so much right now trying to get myself better. For him to do something like that? Whatever.”

Scott Coker said he thinks Bellator will try to get Hager another fight as soon as possible: “Yeah, I mean, these things happen. I don’t want to speculate one way or the other, but I think that we’ll try to get him back in the cage as soon as possible. I know he has a very busy schedule with wrestling, and we’re supportive of that, and when he’s ready to come back and fight in the cage, we’ll have him back when he’s ready.”

FOX pushed Friday's show during Thursday's NFL game with Joe Buck mentioning it on FS 1 and pushed as the stars Sasha Banks, Roman Reigns, Bayley and Kofi Kingston. It was clear Joe Buck and Troy Aikman didn't know who they were and Buck just called them Smackdown superstars They also pushed the replay show at 11 p.m. Eastern and Aikman brought up a photo of Andre the Giant with Joe Theismann in their production room from 1975.

In one of the recent Grilling JR podcasts, WWE Hall of Famer and now AEW announcer Jim Ross took a dig at Seth Rollins after Rollins called AEW the “minor leagues” during a Q&A panel at the Fandemic Tour in Houston. The issue started when Rollins was asked about a fantasy match with Kenny Omega and where would that match be held. Rollins said that “when Kenny’s done playing in the minor leagues over there, Kenny can come work at the absolute top professional wrestling company in the world, in front of the most people, and make the most money, and have the biggest matches, which is with me at WrestleMania.” That did not sit down well with Ross, who despite strong ties with WWE, now is on AEW’s payroll and will obviously defend them. Ross said that the name WrestleMania is what sells tickets to the show and not a particular individual. “I don’t know how many houses Seth has drawn that have sold out. But Rollins he’s got a great spot…he’s blessed, maybe someday he’ll be as over as his girlfriend,” Ross said. “I don’t know, but nonetheless, I’ve always liked his work. He’s a solid guy, but saying things like that make him look bad and for that I feel badly…I just do.” Rollins was doing exactly what Omega said in the past, comments which also did not sit down well with many on the WWE side. On Twitter, Rollins then posted a funny photo asking fans to come hang out with him and his “super over girlfriend,” obviously referring to JR’s comments and Ross, replying to the comment after someone pointed it out to him, added that Becky is the most over talent in WWE right now. Then Becky Lynch added herself to the mix, directly replying to JR’s comment. “Nothing but respect, JR — you’re an amazing announcer! So go down to the locker room and announce that I would whoop your whole women’s division any day of the week and twice on Sundays.” Yep, The Man!

Triple H, Seth Rollins, Bayley, and Ric Flair will be the guests on the premiere episode of Corey Graves’ After the Bell podcast. The podcast is the first show in the WWE Podcast Network and will debut on Wednesday (October 30).

Matt Jackson noted that The Young Bucks handpicked The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express to present the AEW Tag Team titles to the inaugural champions. The Lucha Bros (Pentagon Jr. & Fenix) are facing SoCal Uncensored (Scorpio Sky & Frankie Kazarian) in the Tag Team title tournament finals on Wednesday’s episode of Dynamite.

Killer Kross missed OTT’s Fifth Year Anniversary show Saturday due to travel issues beyond his control. Tyler Bate was also unable to wrestle at the event.

Joel Jones (Outlaw Joel Deaton) suffered a massive stroke last Friday and is currently in the Emory University Hospital in ICU. He was awake and talking, and can move his affected side. His prognosis is excellent but does have a long road ahead of him. His sister relayed the news on Facebook. Oklafan wishes him a speedy recovery
