Joey Ryan signs with Impact Wrestling

Joey Ryan has officially signed with Impact Wrestling.
SoCal Uncensored originally reported that Ryan had signed with Impact. Ryan later retweeted their story, confirming it.
“It made the most sense,” he wrote on Twitter. “@IMPACTWRESTLING has been the most consistent wrestling program on TV for the past 2 years, I get to keep all of my indie dates and best of all, they let me be me.”
Ryan had previously been part of TNA between 2012 and 2013. After being released, he joined Lucha Underground in 2015 and started to appear beginning in the second season.
Earlier this year he took part in a class action lawsuit against Lucha Underground and their production company that was eventually settled, allowing him and others who were unable to get out of their contracts to leave the promotion, making them free agents once more.
Ryan teased back in May he would make an announcement about his future in pro wrestling. He later announced that he would remain as an independent wrestler.
