NEWS
The episode of NCIS: Los Angeles with Bill Goldberg and Shane McMahon aired Sunday night on CBS. Goldberg played Lance Hamilton, a Department of Justice agent who is looking for a former border patrol officer who disappeared after a threat by the cartel. McMahon played Agent Steve Evans who is looking to recover a stolen hard drive with sensitive military intelligence on it.

Ric Flair has gotten a television commercial gig for Cumberland Farms coffee, pizza and breakfasts.

Ivelisse Velez is teaching at the Team Vision Dojo in Orlando. Larry Zbyszko has a class on 4/11 at 4 p.m.

WWE Network News reported that the WrestleMania II, III, and IV press conferences, a Papa Shango vs. Tito Santana dark match from WrestleMania IX, and what seems to be two unaired Superstars segments were Thursday’s additions to the Network’s Hidden Gems section.

Mustafa Ali, Sasha Banks, Bayley, Seth Rollins, Lince Dorado, AJ Styles, Kevin Owens, Ricochet, Brian Kendrick, Rey Mysterio, Sonjay Dutt, Cedric Alexander, Kid Mikaze, Aiden English, and Drake Maverick sent a video message to Amazing Red after he announced his retirement.

Brian Blair, one half of the former WWE tag team the Killer Bees, has started a GoFundMe campaign to raise money to help his dear friend and fellow former wrestler James “Kamala” Harris. Harris, who is a double amputee and on dialysis, is at risk of losing his home due to unpaid taxes and has until April 15 to come up with at least $12,750 or Tate County in Mississippi will take his home. The 68-year-old had a lot of health issues over the past several years and two years ago he had life-saving emergency surgery and was put on life support. Kamala had a couple of stints in WWE during his wrestling days but retired in 2010. The GoFundMe campaign can be accessed here

A. J. Styles might be the Phenomenal One and the cover Superstar for WWE 2K19 but the former WWE champion has just cost 2K a cool $1 million as he lost his Million Dollar Challenge final during the NXT Takeover: New York pre-show. WWE fan Stephan T. Benson from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania advanced to the final match after he managed to outlast three other fans – Gregory Davis from Jacksonville, Florida, David Hoey from Sydney, Australia, and Roman Droßard from Pfalzfeld, Germany – during Axxess. Benson, wearing all gold including shoes, was booed by fans inside the Barclays Center but that did not stop him from beating Styles for the $1 million playing WWE 2K19. Benson played with Brock Lesnar and pretty much dominated Styles and finished him in a few minutes. The game had a 10-minute limit. Corey Graves and Xavier Woods hosted the final.

Highspots uploaded Ric Flair and Road Warrior Animal’s in-ring segment from Thursday’s WrestleCon Supershow.

All Elite Wrestling's latest employee - WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross - has hinted that AEW will start a weekly television show in October on a major cable network. Speaking at an appearance on WFAN Radio in New York Fridday, JR said, "To be 67 years old and be anointed the voice of a brand that's going to be debuting in October on national television on a major cable network...which can't be named now. When people hear what network we're going on, they're gonna be doubly excited. It's a network we can all find." The talk a few months ago was that AEW were talking with a couple of major cable networks for a possible television deal which is astonishing considering Impact Wrestling has been trying to do that for years and have failed every single time.

OVW announced on Saturday they are holding the first-ever combine (like in the NFL) on June 1st. The top 15 will earn a full tuition scholarship and room/board to OVW’s wrestling school run by Al Snow. The group is trying to be the first accredited professional wrestling and sports entertainment trade school in the world.
