Bruiser Brody To Be Inducted To the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame

King Kong Brody will be inducted into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame on Friday, Sept. 14, at 7 p.m.

Barbara Goodish will accept the honor for her late husband, who died in 1988. The Hall of Fame is located in the Pro Wrestling Shirt Shop at South County Mall.

Mrs. Goodish and Larry Matysik will also sign their new book Brody, The Triumph and Tragedy of Wrestling's Rebel, that evening. Mickey Garagiola will also be at the event.

Brody was a controversial star who drew big houses from 1978 into the mid-1980s in St. Louis . He joins Matysik, Garagiola, Sam Muchnick, Joe Schoenberger, Lou Thesz, Wild Bill Longson, Dick the Bruiser, Ric Flair, Gene Kiniski, Pat O'Connor, Harley Race, Johnny Valentine, Fritz Von Erich, and Penny Banner in the Hall.
