Jim Ross & Conrad Thompson Teaming On New Podcast
Posted: Mar 1st 2019 By: www.whatculture.com
Jim Ross revealed on the latest episode of his Westwood One podcast 'The Jim Ross Report' that he's in talks to launch a new pod alongside 'Something To Wrestle With', 'What Happened When' and '83 Weeks' maestro Conrad Thompson.
Thompson's current bread-winner with Bruce Prichard is currently up in the air after reports surfaced that Prichard had been rehired by WWE as part of the creative team. That'd free up some space on his schedule, and it seems 'Good Ol' JR' will be the one to fill it.
Though Jim didn't go into details on where the show would land, he did hint that it could outright replace his current slot on Westwood One. The major change would be in formatting; Thompson is known to grill guests on various moments from wrestling history, and there are few with the knowledge or experience Ross has.
If you're a fan of Conrad's other shows with Prichard, Tony Schiavone and Eric Bischoff, then this is a bit of dream come true. He's likely to bring the best out in JR, and Ross already believes the new pod will be "more entertaining" than his current one.
