NEWS
The newest class of the WWE Performance Center includes 12 individuals, two of whom are females. The 12 who will be calling Orlando, FL home from now on are ACH, Elliot Sexton, Jonah Rock, Karen Q, Nick Comoroto, Omari Palmer, Rachael Ellering, Ricardo Miller, Sam Shaw, Scott Parker, Shane Matthews, and Trevor Lee. Karen Q and Rachael Ellering were part of the Mae Young Classic tournament last year. Rachael is the daughter of WWE Hall of Famer and former manager Paul Ellering. ACH and Trevor Lee, two popular indie wrestlers, were rumored to be signing a deal a few months ago. WWE continues to beef up its developmental territory and with the recent arrival of All Elite Wrestling, scouting will get even more intense over the next few months as the two companies will compete to sign the best talent on the market.

WWE Network News reported that Thursday’s Valentine’s Day themed Hidden Gems section additions are:
-Johnny Valentine vs. Lou Thesz (Championship Wrestling from Florida, 1973)
-A brief video where Greg Valentine showcases the devastating effects of his elbow drop as he prepares for battle (Championship Wrestling from Florida, 1976)
-Bob Backlund vs. Greg Valentine in an hour-long match (WWWF; 1979)
-Ric Flair vs. Greg Valentine (Mid-Atlantic Wrestling; 1980)

Ariel Helwani reported that Jake Hager’s (Jack Swagger) next fight is slated for Bellator 221 in Rosemont, IL on May 11th. Helwani noted that Hager’s opponent has yet to be finalized. Hager made his MMA debut last month by submitting J. W. Kiser in the first round at Bellator 214.

Jake Hager, the artist formerly known as Jack Swagger, will be returning inside the cage for a second MMA bout under Bellator. Ariel Helwani of ESPN reported that the former World Heavyweight champion will be part of the Bellator 221 event on May 11. No opponent has been named as of yet. This will be Hager’s second professional MMA fight after he beat J.W. Kiser last month at The Forum in Inglewood, California. Hager made quick work of his opponent, submitting him in the first round. Hager has stated that he would like to use the name Jack
Swagger for his second fight and was in the process of putting a trademark on the name. Bellator 221 will take place at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, IL, a place where he wrestled numerous times before for WWE.

Oklafan congratulates Something Special (Rob Cabella & Shawn Shields), who recently surpassed 6 months as ASP Oklahoma Tag Team Champions. They defeated Johnny Kove & Tristan Thorne for the titles on August 10, 2017 at an event in Oklahoma City.
