During Ariel Helwani’s MMA Show on ESPN on Monday, Jack Swagger revealed that he will be making his Bellator debut next month. Swagger, who now goes by his real name Jake Hager, said he will be fighting J. W. Kiser on the January 26th show from The Forum in Inglewood, California. Kiser is a 39-year-old who’s relatively new to professional MMA and holds a 1-1 record. He last fought two days ago for KC Fighting Alliance in Independence, MO where he defeated Michael Edwards who was making his MMA debut. Hager signed with Bellator in November 2017 and is training at the Ybor City Jiu-Jitsu Club in Tampa, FL. This will be Hager's first professional MMA fight.

There was a strangle angle done in India recently featuring Rebel from Impact Wrestling (Tanea Brooks). She was there for shows put on by The Great Khali in large arenas and stadiums. She did a dance off with Indian reality TV star and actress Rakhi Sawant, which ended up with Rebel giving Sawant a bodyslam. Sawant then claimed that Rebel tried to injure her back on purpose so she could never dance again. Sawant is in the media in India claiming that Bollywood model and actress Tanushree Dutta drugged and raped her. Dutta represented India in the Miss Universe contest in 2004 and has since become a well known actress. She claimed that Dutta paid off Rebel to injure her on her Instagram.

Fox promoted SmackDown coming to its network during the Thursday Night Football NFL game featuring the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Tennessee Titans in Nashville, TN. Jeff Jarrett was also in the stadium and was the ceremonial 12th Titan, planting the sword in the middle of the field prior to the game. Jarrett was acknowledged as a WWE Hall of Famer and the broadcast team then said that "WWE SmackDown Live" is coming to Fox beginning on October 4, 2019. During the plug, a video of Jarrett holding a SmackDown Live shirt was shown. WWE officially announced the deal with Fox on June 27th of this year, a five-year deal which is worth over $1 billion. WWE Network News reported that Jerry Blackwell vs. Colonel DeBeers in a Ladder Match in AWA on November 27, 1986 has been added to the WWE Network Hidden Gems along with a Stairway to Hall Match featuring The Dudleyz (Buh Buh Ray Dudley, D-Von Dudley, & Dick Dudley) vs. The Sandman, Tommy Dreamer, & Spike Dudley in ECW on May 16, 1998.

PWInsider reported that Roman Reigns was at Fort Hood in Texas last week to take part in WWE's "Tribute to the Troops" festivities at the base. Braun Strowman and Ric Flair were also among those in attendance at Fort Hood.

Sheeva has been named The Boss of The Vixens for Renegade Wrestling Revolution in Houston, TX. Her first event as The Boss will be January 19th.
