Services to be held for Hawaii wrestling pioneer Neff Maiava

One of the pioneers of Polynesian and Hawaii professional wrestling, Prince Neff Maiava will have services held Saturday, June 2 at Co-Cathedral at St. Theresa on School Street.
The Laie native, who was the popular National Wrestling Alliance heavyweight champion, passed away in April at age 93.
Maiava's career spanned from 1952 to 1974. He was known for his charisma and abilities as an entertainer.
His inurnment with military honors will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Monday, June 4 at Diamond Head Mortuary.
