Hear "Million Dollar Man" Give His Testimony
Posted: Aug 11th 2007 By: CMBurnham
Known to wrestling fans as the "Million Dollar Man", Ted DiBiase has all the trappings of success -- fame, lots of money, a big house.
But he says his life was empty and miserable without Christ.
DiBiase will visit Solid Rock Christian Church in Boiling Springs and speak at both church services on Sunday. The morning service starts at 11AM and the evening service starts at 6:30 PM.
The former wrestler said he will share an evangelistic message wrapped around his testimony.
DiBiase was recently inducted into the Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame in New York and released a recorded version of his testimony.
A villain in the WWE who did battle in the ring with titans such as Hulk Hogan, DiBiase said he did his "share of partying, drinking carousing". But it was the women, he said, that were his addiction.
DiBiase became a Christian in 1992. A confrontation with his wife, after she discovered he'd been unfaithful, led to his conversion.
DiBiase has since founded the Heart of David Ministries and says he thinks people relate and respond to his honesty. He says reaction to his testimony is always good.
Along with his testimony, DiBiase says he wants to let people know "there is hope in a lost and dying world."
"I also come to challenge the religious who think they're Christian," he said.
