Edge & Beth Phoenix expecting second child

DALLAS ? As Beth Phoenix soaked in the atmosphere backstage at the 2016 WWE Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, there was one topic immediately on the minds of her longtime friends and former WWE colleagues: She?s eight months pregnant.

?I haven?t been able to come back here for a couple of years because I?ve been chasing our first child, Lyric ? our little two-year-old who?s very excited to be a big sister,? The Glamazon told WWE.com. ?It?s been a while since I?ve been able to come back, visit everybody and enjoy the experience. Before I get back into ?Baby Land,? I thought this was a good window to come and say ?hi,? see the new generation of Divas and where it?s all headed.?

Edge, who has been pushing the envelope alongside his iconic tag team partner in the ?Edge & Christian Show That Totally Reeks of Awesomeness? on WWE Network, seems a lot less stressed than most fathers who are expecting another addition to the family. However, there?s a good reason for that.

?Beth has been, somehow, chasing around a two-year-and-four-month-old, taking care of four dogs, maintaining the household and getting a master?s degree in forensic psychology, all at the same time, while I go and act like a moron with my lifelong best friend,? the 2012 WWE Hall of Famer told WWE.com with a grin. ?It?s a partnership ? it has to be, in order to juggle everything. Fortunately, I?ve got a pillar, so I can go and do the show knowing that everything at home is A-OK. It?s been an interesting ride over the past few months.?

One might even say that things are more than ?A-OK? for this power couple, as Phoenix seems to approach this next chapter in her and Edge?s life with the same confidence she displayed when she was Glam Slamming WWE?s entire female roster just a few years ago.

?To be fair, the hardest part of my week is live-tweeting ?The Edge & Christian Show,? because I just can?t keep up with the tremendous response and the controversy,? Phoenix said. ?Although the stuff at home is difficult, that?s what really sends me over the edge.?
