The American Dream means something different to everyone, but for wrestling fans it could only mean one thing, Dusty Rhodes.
Rhodes, nicknamed the American Dream, hosted a bike run for charity Saturday.
Bikers signed up and made donations for the 112 mile ride, including seven different stops throughout Bay County.
In recent years, the run benefited Muscular Distrophy, but this year the money goes to help the Tampa Shriners Hospital for Children.
"The Shriner's hospital is very dear to me and my mom. This is in her name. She passed away here in Panama City. A lot of people say hey why are you doing this
here in Panama City, she left Texas and came here and was in a nursing home and passed away. I wanted to do something for her, something for the common people like I am."
Donations raised for the MDA includes $15 from each biker involved.
The seven different sites, registered in the poker run, donated $200 each.
The run raised more than $11,200.
