Jim Ross will be calling boxing on CBS Sports Network

CBS Sports Network is a network you probably don?t turn too all that often (unless you?re a huge fan of Boomer & Carton). But we could have a reason to watch events on the network in the future, because legendary former WWE announcer Jim Ross will be doing boxing play by play on the network.
Last February, CBS was one of a number of networks inking a deal with Premier Boxing Champions, and while it?s currently unknown if Ross will be the voice of the PBC cards on CBS SN, it would be a safe assumption.
Ross is no stranger to calling non-wrestling events ? since leaving WWE, he?s called Golden Boy boxing on FS1, and has also called some MMA with Chael Sonnen. Ross also has replaced new WWE SmackDown broadcaster Mauro Ranallo on AXS TV?s weekly New Japan pro wrestling show.
