JR's Blog: RINGSIDE w/ JR Sun 4PM in Houston, DEMOLITIION Rocking Ross Report Podcast, ROH PPV, @ImpactWrestling Women, Kurt Angle, Taz Show, NSAO/Diaz Train Wreck

Excited to head to Houston this weekend for our RINGSIDE w/ Jim Ross Show at the Warehouse Live Ballroom venue near the Toyota Center that starts at 2 pm for the VIP ticket holders for their meet/greet with the show itself starting at 4pm and ending before 6 as to give fans plenty of time to make the 10 minute walk to the Toyota Center to enjoy the WWE Night of Champions. Tickets are available in advance at www.ticketfly.com and a few VIP tickets remain plus all general admission tickets are only $20. Tickets will also be available Sunday beginning at 3 pm at the venue box office.

Good luck to ROH on their PPV tonight in San Antonio that is a traditional PPV also available on iPPV. This group has a stout lineup booked and will not be out performed anyone bell to bell. They often times work a little fast for my tastes but there is never a lack of effort by their talented roster.

The feedback that we are receiving via Twitter, @JRsBBQ, etc on the Demolition podcast this week on the Ross Report has been nothing short of extraordinary. Listen to this HOF worthyteam or FREE at podcastone.com, iTunes and here on the homepage of our site.

The Q&A's here are updated as of Friday morning Oklahoma time.

Enjoyed the work of the TNA women this week as they ventured outside the box and unlike many of their male counterparts in the business the ladies are not languishing in their comfort zones. Too many men are obsessed to get their sh!t in and that's what their matches often times turn out to be.

The WWE women had a solid week of in ring action too and I expect Charlotte vs Nikki Bella to have a really good bout Sunday at WWE NOC. The women who party less and spend more time on perfecting their game will find much more money and success than those that feel compelled to enjoy the night life too often.

BTW...Gail Kim vs Awesome Kong on Impact Wrestling's Bound for Glory PPV on Oct 4 should be worth the price of the PPV alone. Love both those ladies who are each a credit to the business.

If you are a football gambler, you might consider taking Tulsa and the 31 points Saturday versus Oklahoma on Fox Sports 1 at 11 am Norman time (CT).

The Nevada state Athletic Commission fiasco suspending Nick Diaz FIVE YEARS on a marijuana matter is beyond senseless. I feel certain that it will be over turned in court unless it is another Kangaroo Court like the one held recently in Vegas. Diaz has obvious, behavioral issues that should be addressed and, yes, he can help himself in many instances but his life hasn't been an easy one and he should be provided counseling or something along those lines to help him turn his life around and to better handle his past.

If Seth Rollins doesn't become the next "it" guy in WWE it won't be for a lack of exposure. I'm a Rollins fan because I see some of the great, HBK in him at times. plus I admire Rollins work ethic. WWE is walking a thin line in overexposing Seth, IMO, but thus far he is holding up well but it won't always be that way if Rollins continues to be all over the TV every week.

For those that think that Rollins is being booked "weak" I couldn't disagree more. Heels of average size, like Rollins, are naturally vulnerable which isn't a sign of weakness but a sign of reality. A champion who is beatable but has to cheat to win is money. Always has been and always will be. Gorgeous George, Buddy Rogers, Ric Flair and HBK are just a few of the examples of what I just outlined and please don't hit back with the "...but times have changed" line.

Check me out on Taz' new show that can be heard any time on TazShow.com. We talked a bunch of CFB and NFL football this morning. I'm proud of Taz and wish him nothing but success. Get the app at Play.it.

For the record and for my money, no one does a better independent wrestling show that does Maryland Championship Wrestling. They hae a big show Saturday night in Hollywood, Md. Jake Roberts an Mickie James will both be a prt of this big show.

Next week on the Ross Report, Pro Wrestling Torch's Bruce Mitchell will join me to review WWE NOC in Houston and the world of rasslin in general. First time I'm having Bruce on my Podcast and I'm looking forward to it.

My man Kurt Angle is promoting his first ever "Golden Truth Tour" that comes to the UK Nov 18-23 in six cities for a gold medal winning Q&A. I'd love to attend this one myself. Good job Triple M promotions. Love to see Kurt in WWE HOF sooner than later.

Scott Hall will be in Houston Saturday at All Star Comic and Games in Humble Texas at Deerbrook Mall from noon-2 pm. Check out the Bad Guy. @ClutchCityProd
