Breaker Promises To Bring Action Back To SRPW
Posted: Sep 9th 2015 By: CMBurnham
The last time SRPW fans saw Brian Breaker, they thought it was truly the last time they would see him.
Breaker had been attempting to take the SRPW Title away from champion Riker for a couple of months in May and June and decided to go all-in, challenging him to a Career-vs-Career No Holds Barred Match for the title on June 19th. Those types of matches tend to favour individuals who do not abide by the rules anyway and Riker seemingly put Breaker away for good.
But Breaker returned this past Friday to SRPW. Although it was a very different Brian Breaker. No fan interaction. No appreciation. No high energy. Instead, fans were told that the 3rd World Action Star (as he now called himself) would be returning and when he stepped through the curtain, it was a very different Brian Breaker. Breaker stood motionless as his new entrance video played, showing scenes of him diving out of a building that then exploded (albeit through obvious CGI effects) and fighting off a deadly snake (obviously of the rubber variety). He told the fans that it had been a long time since he had been around and in that intervening time, he had left to go overseas and become an action star. As a result, any requests for him now, as it pertained to personal appearances or movie deals or wrestling bookings, would have to go through his agent. And that agent was Mitch Baxter, who came barreling through the curtain screaming into is phone. Whoever he was talking to was certainly getting an earful as Baxter made it known that there would be demands met if his client were to be involved in whatever project he was working on. After Mitch concluded his phone call, he addressed the crowd, basically reiterating what Breaker had already said. And by this time, a masked wrestler had made his way to the ring. Baxter called for competition from the back and the masked wrestler tried to enter, but Baxter waved him off, hoping for someone better. Seeing no response, Baxter allowed the masked individual to enter and then another masked wrestler came in through the garage door into the centre. Baxter also invited him into the ring. Baxter said that if the two masked individuals wanted to compete, they would have to meet certain demands. They would have 10 seconds to produce a 30-pack of Crystal Pepsi, 30 million dollars and a 1978 Camaro. Neither man had the required items on them, but that did no stop them from attacking Breaker, who laid them out easily in the middle of the ring.
Then, the surprise twist, as Aaron Anders made his way out and stood face-to-face with Brian Breaker. Anders said he was there to wrestle and already geared up, but Baxter said that Breaker had already competed that night, so he would not be taking up that challenge. Anders promised to be ready, but also said that he was already there so he also issued an open challenge to the locker room. Answering that challenge was a fellow former 3rd Dimension of Wrestling stablemate, Ethan Cole. Cole, who uttered some rather repugnant language to the fans and had seemingly embraced his southern cultural roots as he was wearing a rebel flag, took up the challenge of Anders and the match was on. Since both men had been on the same side for quite a while, each had a good knowledge of the moves of the other. It appeared as if Anders was going to overcome this challenge and move on to victory when Breaker and Baxter again appeared., providing a perfect distraction and allowing Cole to win the match.
When the match was over, Breaker and Baxter entered the ring and, with a rather mocking tone, expressed their pleasure that Cole had won. Breaker then picked Anders up and hit an Overhead Pumphandle suplex. And to cap it all off, they gave Anders an autographed picture of Breaker, made out to Aaron Edwards. Baxter and Breaker than left the building, after no one took up their offer of a high-five from Breaker as long as they visited the restroom to was their hands before.
The new attitude is overwhelming for Breaker and is ego is obviously out of control. But for someone with the physical credentials, combined with the knowledge gained from his time spent at NXT, Breaker may be on his way to capturing gold in SRPW. And even if he does not accomplish that, he certainly seems determined to bring the action back everywhere he goes.
