6-18 WWE RAW

Mick Foley was in the ring. He said he had asked to be the 1st person to speak tonight. He recalled that he had said some things that were inappropriate last week. If he'd known that Vince McMahon would spontaneously combust, he might have handled things differently. Vince McMahon took a guy without the greatest body and with a face that wasn't TV friendly and turned him into a success story. He apologised to the entire McMahon family. Randy Orton came down. He said that he thought it was incredible that Foley thought he could wear a stupid tie and issue an insincere apology and it would make everything better. Orton recalled that last week, Foley said that McMahon had no friends. He called Foley's most recent book a "hatchet job" on McMahon. Orton suggested that Foley had enough motivation to kill McMahon. King Booker and Queen Sharmell then came to the ring and Booker said he would straighten this all out. Booker said that most people looked at Foley as a suspect. He then revealed that there was a federal investigator present and he had been speaking to Bobby Lashley for and hour. Lashley had motivation because he was stripped of the ECW World Title and was the object of McMahon's rage since Wrestlemania XXIII. He also brought up that Lashley had intimate knowledge of explosives as a former Army Ranger. Lashley came to the ring, stepped up to King Booker and punched him in the face. Orton cleared out as WWE RAW World Champion John Cena's music played. Cena came to the ring and delivered a few playful insults, calling Lashley & Booker "Kojak and Ace Ventura". He said he is asking the same questions they all are about what happened to Vince, but things won't be solved by everyone pointing fingers and saying "He did it!". McMahon was boss, but he made a bunch of enemies, even outside wrestling. The feds will handle the case. The right thing to do is get on with the show. At this point, Johnathon Coachman came to the top of the ramp., He said Cena was right, the show must go on. The McMahon family put him in charge of RAW on a temporary basis. He then announced the main event of the evening, which was being done in Vince McMahon's memory: Randy Orton & King Booker vs. Bobby Lashley & John Cena. He also booked Mick Foley to face Umaga and took a quick shot at Foley by saying that his book was an example of "distorted truth." before leaving.

Mick Foley vs. Umaga never officially got started. Umaga attacked Foley before the bell could ring. Both man battled inside and outside the ring before Foley was knocked unconscious by Umaga after a charge into the steps by Umaga.

Mick Foley was treated by the WWE physician backstage. He was asked if he knew what day it was and he didn't. The lead investigator in the McMahon case entered and said he needed to speak to Foley. The doctor said Foley was in no shape to talk right then. The investigator stared at Foley for a moment, then left.

6-21 TNA iMPACT

Jim Cornette brought all TNA Champions to the ring. He said the main event of the Victory Road PPV would be a "Match of Champions". TNA World & World X Division Champions vs. TNA World Tag Team Champions. All the titles would be on the line. When a wrestler scored the pin, he would win the title of the wrestler he defeated. If a World Tag Team Champion was pinned, the wrestler won both tag team title belts and could pick anyone to partner with to defend them. For the next 3 weeks, the champions would be defending their titles on iMPACT. He asked if there were any questions and Kurt Angle raised his hand. He asked Cornette to get his head out of his ass. He wondered where the celebration was for him. He can't understand why he wasn't on a pedastal. He said there would be a party of Sting won the title. He told Cornette to leave while he thanked the people responsible for his title win. He thanked himself for making this possible, doing everything he'd said he'd do, putting TNA on the map and being the greatest wrestler in the world. He told the fans to keep their support as they blew like the wind. He didn't care if the fans hated him because that's how he felt about them. When he needed help from them, all he heard was "Joe is gonna kill you!". He then realised that he had forgotten to thank someone and thanked God for giving the people a role model and finishes by saying "It's real. It's damn real!". Cornette said he was sorry Kurt didn't get the response he felt he deserved, but he's a professional athlete and this is about competition. He reminded Angle that he wanted new blood in the main event picture that was about competition, not complaining. He then said that next week, Angle would face 2 former World Champions in a Triple Threat Match. He finished by reminding Angle that the hardest part of being champion is not winning it, it's keeping it. Cornette announced that the main event for tonight would be TNA World X Division Champion Jay Lethal vs. Chris Sabin vs. Samoa Joe.

Video was shown in Jim Cornette trying to calm Rhino down after James Storm poured beer on him after Rhino's loss.

A video interview with Jeff Jarrett was shown talking about the beginnings of TNA. Any time Jeff mentioned his wife Jill (who passed away May 23rd from cancer), he broke down. Photos of Jill and Jeff's family were shown. Jeff said Jill supported Jeff at every turn. The crowd chanted "Thank you Jeff!" after seeing the package.

Christian Cage cut a promo against Chris Harris. He had Tomko and A. J. Styles with him and they were all goofing around as if they were movie stars and directors. Cage blamed Harris for costing him the TNA World Title. He said he and Harris would put on a masterpiece in the ring sometime. After the challenge, Cage saw someone behind the camera (later revealed as Abyss) and ran away to the ring. Abyss followed and brought a barbed-wire baseball bat with him, but was soon double-teamed by Tomko & A. J. Abyss shook off A. J., gave Tomko a big boot and stood victorious in the ring.

Jim Cornette came out to congratulate Samoa Joe on winning the TNA World X Division Title. He then announced the participants in next week's main event: Kurt Angle vs. Christian Cage vs. Rhino. The winner would be Joe's partner at Victory Road.

6-22 WWE Smackdown

Ric Flair came to the ring during "The Cutting Edge" after WWE United States Champion Montell Vontavious Porter and WWE Smackdown World Champion Edge were accusing Torrie Wilson of lying on several issues, insinuating that she might have had something to do with Vince McMahon's death. MVP and Edge double-teamed Flair until Batista came to the rescue.
