Steve Cox is starting a wrestling promotion called Doit2it Promotions LLC. They made an announcement on their Facebook site that said "The most talented wrestlers in the world today are coming to a venue near you soon. Stay tuned for announcements in the coming weeks about the exciting debut show, location to be announced on June 5th. The roster reveal is going to make your jaw drop. This is going to change the way the Independent Wrestling world revolves." Their Facebook site can be found at Facebook.com/Doit2itPromotions.

There?s been no word yet if TNA will have a Hall of Fame induction ceremony at "Slammiversary" this year but they wanted former World Heavyweight Champion A. J. Styles to come in and accept an induction. TNA reportedly pitched the idea to Styles one or two months ago but he turned them down. TNA offered Styles a great deal to come in, do the Hall of Fame, likely wrestle one match on "Slammiversary" and that that would be it. Styles, the current IWGP Heavyweight Champion, turned the deal down because his priorities right now are Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Jeff Jarrett threw out the first pitch Thursday night before the El Paso Chihuahuas vs. Round Rock Express minor league baseball game on CBS Sports Network. He also promoted his live events.

This is a reminder to all wrestlers, managers, valets, referees, ring announcers, and promoters. All licenses issued by the Oklahoma Athletic Commission will expire on June 30th and you will need to renew. In addition, all wrestling licenses being purchased must also have a blood test for Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C, and HIV.

Oklafan extends condolences to the family and friends of Tommy Rogers, who passed away June 1st at the age of 54. Rogers, whose real name was Thomas Couch, began his career in 1981 and established himself as a top junior heavyweight in southern territories, especially in Florida. By 1984, he had made his way to Memphis, where he was paired with Bobby Fulton and would go on to have his best known run as The Fantastics. Feuds with The Midnight Express (both Bobby Eaton & Dennis Condrey and later Eaton & Stan Lane), The Rock-N-Roll RPMs, Hyatt and Hotstuff International, and especially The Sheepherders were some of the highlights over the next 6 years for The Fantastics. They would amass many titles, including the UWF Tag Team title (2 times, both times won in Tulsa), the WCCW World Tag Team Titles (2 times) and the NWA United States Tag Team Titles (2 times). After leaving the NWA, Rogers and Fulton split up and Rogers once again established himself as a singles competitor, making waves in ECW both by himself as well as teaming with Jerry Lynn. He also became a backstage agent for that company. His last notable national appearance was during the tournament to crown the first WWF World Light Heavyweight Champion where he faced his former partner, Bobby Fulton, in a first-round match. Rogers retired in 2007 and had hip replacement surgery, after which he made is home in Honolulu. But trouble would follow him and several incidents involving physical altercations would see Rogers in legal trouble in recent years. Rogers has 31 documented Oklahoma appearances, the earliest on March 12, 1984 where The Fantastics defeated The Midnight Express in Wynnewood and the last on January 15, 2005 when ironically, The Fantastics defeated The Midnight Express for the vacant SCW Tag Team Titles in Muskogee.

-Bobby Fulton: I was wanting to wait until all of the family has been notified. My wrestling tag team partner Tommy Rogers passed away this morning in Hawaii. I am totally devastated by this loss. Words can?t even describe it. Tommy blessed me with an opportunity to be a part of one of the great tag teams of professional wrestling. He was one of the best athletes in the profession. My prayers are for Sheila and the rest of the Couch family. Not only was he a partner he was like a brother we travelled many miles and many different places. I know in fact with his belief in Jesus which he shared with me many times recently and I know he has heaven as his home, because the Bible teaches us to be absent of the body is to be present with The Lord.
-The Blue Meanie: I'm sad to say Rest In Peace Tommy Rogers of the Fantastics. Huge fan of the wrestler and man. He was great with younger ECW guys. A true gem! My thoughts are with his family and partner Bobby Fulton who is also a gem of a human being!
