Man Charged With Murder Claims Tulsa Reserve Deputy's Records False

Man Charged With Murder Claims Tulsa Reserve Deputy's Records False

Posted: Apr 18th 2015 By: Lori Fullbright

Editors note: Warren Crittenden is the real name of pro wrestler Cole Crittenden.

We've learned more about the man who signed an affidavit saying the training records of Tulsa County Reserve Deputy Bob Bates were falsified. Bates is charged in the shooting death of Eric Harris following an undercover gun deal.

Bates' attorney says the man making the claims of falsified records is not credible because he was fired from the Tulsa County Sheriff's Office, has a lawsuit pending against him and is in jail, charged with murder.

I have confirmed the man who signed that affidavit is Warren Crittenden. He was hired by the TCSO in 1995 and was fired in 2011. He's suing the sheriff's office, saying they fired him because of his PTSD and degenerative disc disease, which he says was caused by the job.

Crittenden was arrested a few months ago for a Tulsa homicide case.

Tulsa police say four men went to the Super 8 Motel in January, and three of those men went into a room. Then two fired shots, killing a man inside.
