MSWA Championship Question To Be Answered Match 27

For months, MSWA fans have asked the question over and over again:

Where is MSWA Mid-South Champion Les Mayne?

Mayne defeated Rick Russo for the title in a Dog-Collar Chain Match which was nominated for Match of the Year in the Oklafan Year-End Awards, but that was the last time he was seen at an MSWA event. Since that date (November 2nd), MSWA fans have waited with baited breath for Les to appear and bring honour and prestige back to the championship.

But that day never seemed to come. And besides the fans, other members of the locker room have grown increasingly frustrated by the absence of the champion. Most notably, Rick Russo and Roc-N-Roll Cowboy.

Obviously, Russo has a pending rematch that he has not received. And he has addressed this issue on quite a few occasions in the ring. Roc-N-Roll Cowboy has also made repeated mention of the absence of champions at the MSWA events and while it seems that his main concern is the Mid-South Tag Team Titles, the MSWA Title must also be on his radar and would certainly be a prestigious addition to the Saints of Pro Wrestling.

Despite the repeated inquiries by Russo and Cowboy, neither MSWA commissioner C. M. Burnham nor MSWA owner Bad Boy have been willing to make any official statement regarding the championship, but after the event on March 13, insider sources have revealed that an official decision will be revealed at the event on March 27th.

The fans wait. The wrestlers wait. And now, come March 27th, all questions about the "Mayne Event" will finally be answered.
