It was a tough day in Norman Saturday as my Sooners got woodshedded by the explosive Baylor Bears in one of the most sound beatings on OU's home field in years. This week we will find out who the real fans are and who wants to jump ship and demand major changes. This situation sounds like some rasslin fans who are never satisfied with pro wrestling booking. It proves the old adage that a little knowledge can be dangerous. Let's grill....

Lots of podcast news. As you can see on the home page of the site you now can click on to the icon on the home page to listen to my current Ross Report Podcast. It can't get any more simple and as is my podcast on every platform, it's FREE.

The JJ Dillon show currently on the Ross Report is getting amazing feedback especially from older fans who remember thee territory days and those who are younger and want to learn about the history of the business from those who lived it.

This Tuesday night at 9 pm ET my conversation with former WWE Smackdown lead writer @alexdgreenfield will drop and it's a classic show. I learned so much behind the scenes things from Alex that I never knew and I worked there! Alex's stories of working in WWE Creative and interacting with WWE upper management are compelling to say the very least. Alex is unfiltered and not looking for a job after he left WWE of his own choosing and pulls no punches. To say that Sir Alex can be combative might be an understatement.

On Tuesday night November 18, I talk to both Matt and Jeff Hardy on the Ross Report in one of the best conversations that we've had the privilege to bring you on our show. This is an awesomely honest, candid and compelling show that I really think that you will love. The Hardy Boyz are two of my favorite talents and having them on our show was a blast.

Remember that if you subscribe to the Ross Report it costs you nothing and you won't miss an episode. Subscribe for FREE at iTunes.

This Tuesday I will be talking to Lisa Varon aka Victoria aka Tara aka a women who closed a Monday Night RAW back in the day against Trish Stratus. It's always interesting to hear a woman's perspective of the business and they are usually very open and honest with their remarks. Lisa's show will air later this year.

I want to say thanks to all of you who are joining our Ross Report Podcast team and for recommending our show to others. The only want we can grow is to utilize a grass roots campaign where loyal listeners simply suggest our show to others. For that, we are grateful.

Thanks to Chael Sonnen for having me as a guest on his Podcast, 'You're Welcome,' this week at posdcastone.com. Chael's podcast is doing great and he can be followed on Twitter @sonnench.

Really enjoyed listening to Terry Bradshaw speak with Spencer Tillman last Wednesday night in Houston for a benefit for the outstanding organization called TEACH. There's few things more important than education and doing all we can to assist the next generation of adults have a solid foundation to better serve them in the 'real world.'

Kudos to WWE for raising so much money for the Susan G. Komen Foundation for breast cancer research. This terrible ailment doesn't resonate to many unless they have family members affected as many who are reading this do. WWE raised over $1.5M in a month.

I read where Roman Reigns is taking acting classes in LA with noted acting teacher Howard Fine. It's good that Reigns is learning more while he's healing from surgery and hopefully he's watching tons of DVD's of the many greats of the game so see what he denotes as making them special. No great pro wrestler ever quits learning because as in live if we quit evolving and improving we begin the 'dying process.' Main eventers realize early on that the learning process and getting better at what one's does never ceases unless one finds themselves in the toxic, "Comfort Zone."

With nothing really appearing to be 'red hot' right now in WWE as it relates to a clear cut direction for the main event at WM31 it would seems that WWE will be depending to some degree on older talents, including some alums, to help add some sizzle to the card. Hopefully we will get more of hint at the Survivor Series and December's TLC PPV. With that speculation said, I hope that WWE has a plan to utilize Sting who has earned a WrestleMania Moment if any one in the business has. Yes, I'm biased.

I still feel that if a new contract for WWE Champion Brock Lesnar isn't done by early January that WWE should make a change in their top title before WM31 as to protect the WWE World Title's positioning within the company.

I've found myself enjoying the WWE documentaries more than any thing on the WWE Network however I must admit that going back and watching some of the classic WWE and WCW PPV's have been fun too. Most I've not seen since we did them live. Those asking about the production of new, "Legends Roundtables" are asking the wrong guy as I have not the first clue and even if they were going to continue there is certainly no guarantee that I'd be a part of them. There's lots of qualified panelists that WWE has access to and have on salary.

I read on the Pro Wrestling Insider website that Monday's RAW will feature a John Cena vs. Ryback match. The match itself grabbed my attention but I thought Ryback had returned to be a fan favorite. Guess I was wrong....or was I? BTW check out @PWInsidercom on Twitter.

Hard to believe that it was day November 9 in Montreal where the infamous Hitman vs. HBK match took place that is still cussed and discussed today. Rarely does a day or a week go by when I don't get asked if I knew what was going to happen in the "Montreal Screwjob." The answer is always the same and is always the truth...I did not know. More importantly, can it really be 17 years ago? Wow.

We are getting lots of inquiries regarding the January 4 Tokyo Dome PPV from New Japan Pro Wrestling and being promoted on PPV in the USA and Canada by Jeff Jarrett's Global Force Wrestling. I know little about the card but I do know that it's going to be a 4 hour PPV and that the brand seems to me to be old school in psychology and has added some newer age 'wrinkles' to their matches. I have been watching some of the product and like that they don't blow off fundamentals especially when it comes to selling and, overall, making most of their matches seem believable and plausible. I wish this group well as I do @ImpactWrestling and @ringofhonor as there can't be too many promotions for the wrestlers to find work. In layman's terms, I was and always will be a 'player's coach' and l will look out for the talent over all else when it comes to the wrestling business.

Thanks for stopping by and FYI the Q&A's are updated. Also, remember you can listen to the latest Ross Report podcast right here on the site by simply going to the homepage and clicking onto the podcast icon. It's free too.

Be well and make today count.
