Wolves Rebound From Pack Attack By Saints

Wolves Rebound From Pack Attack By Saints

Posted: Oct 16th 2014 By: Michael Hunt

Since their inception as a group, the Saints of Pro Wrestling have made it clear that they want to dominate MSWA. But not everyone is willing to just lay down and let the Saints roll over them.

Case in point: MSWA Mid-South & WFC Tag Team Champions The K. C. Wolves want to assure that their status as one of the longest reigning champions in Oklahoma is not threatened. But the persistence of the Sanders Twins has been putting that in jeopardy. Due to their increasing demand, the Wolves have not been able to be at every MSWA event. And the Sanders, along with their manager, The Roc-N-Roll Cowboy, have been quite vocal about their desire to once again become MSWA Tag Team Champions.

The Wolves returned to meet the challenge of the Saints on August 24th, but it wasn't the Sanders they faced. Instead, it was Scott Sanders and Tyson Jaymes. The Wolves were decisive in their victory, but the Saints were persistent. And they came in with a plan. A plan that was carried out brutally the next time the two groups met.

On September 21st, The K. C. Wolves met the Saints once again. This time, it was the combination of Scott & Shawn Sanders, who quite proudly state that they are the team with the longest tenure in the state of Oklahoma. Vicious by nature, the Sanders have certainly upped their danger since aligning with the Saints and being under the tutelage of the Roc-N-Roll Cowboy. They brought that viciousness to the match, trying to make themselves 3-time MSWA Tag Team Champions. The Wolves brought that championship spirit, who wanted to show that they represented the fans of MSWA and would not cower to the bully mentality. In the end, the champions retained. But the consequences of that victory turned out to be more than the champions expected.

As has been their modus operandi since their organisation, the Saints appeared en masse and proceeded to deliver a gangland-style beatdown to the champions. This beating went on for what seemed like an eternity until MSWA Commissioner C. M. Burnham arrived. Burnham, who had levied some fines on the Saints earlier in the show for various infractions, was irate, expressing the idea that the Saints were much like disobedient and inattentive children. Burnham then invoked the highest fine ever recorded to a member of the MSWA roster: $20,000!! The Saints seemed unmoved and refused to turn over the Mid-South Tag Team Title belts that they had taken from the fallen K. C. Wolves. Roc made it clear that there was nothing that Burnham could do about it, because if he tried, they were not afraid to physically impose harm on him. Backed into a corner, Burnham could only watch helplessly as the Saints left with the stolen tag team titles in their possession.

The Wolves received medical attention and were finally cleared to return to competition this past weekend, where they defended their MSWA & WFC Tag Titles, along with the MStW Southern Tag Team Titles. They are certainly motivated to come back to MSWA and have announced that a return on November 2nd will be happening. Additionally, rumour has it that they may finally be making a return to IZW, perhaps to invoke their rematch clause for the tag team titles they lost to Team Bull back in May.

The Wolves are used to being the smallest members of the pack. They have no problem fighting opponents of larger size or bigger quantity. The Saints may believe that they have weakened the Wolves, but perhaps it would be smart of them no to underestimate what weakened animals are capable of doing.
