Morgan Officially Reinstated To Instill Fear In Team Johnny Z

The time is edging ever closer. The time when the steel cage surrounds the ring and two teams of 5 people enter, one by one, to hope to eliminate each other. Each year, the Impact Chamber event is one of the most anticipated matches in IZW. But this year, the stakes are higher than usual, as for only the second time, the IZW Title will be on the line. And Johnny Z as made it is goal to walk out with that title in his possession for the second time.
Z as put together an incredibly powerful team, but not without a couple of hiccups. Initially, the team was comprised of the members of Impact, Inc.: IZW Tag Team Champions Team Bull and Jordan Jacobs plus OMalley. But Jacobs left after the return of Jermaine Johnson and has since been replaced by Randy Price.
It seemed as if Shawn McHale had a little more trouble putting Team #1 in place. Impact, Inc. eliminated is #1 draft choice, Double D, but McHale had two members drop into his lap with the reunion of What Wrestling Should Be. Add to that Damon Windsor and IZW Champion Gary Tool. And then, in a huge coup, McHale revealed that the fifth member would be Michael Barry!
As always, Johnny Z had a plan. And with the IZW Title at stake, Z went to deep depths of depravity. First, he assaulted and abducted Michael Barry after Barry had done a sit-down interview with AnnaLynn Storm. Impact, Inc. put Barry in the back of Z's truck and drove him to parts unknown were he was dumped and wished a sarcastic good luck in making is way back to the Impact Arena by August 9.
That put Team #1 one man down. But that was not sufficient for Johnny Z. On July 26, part two of the plan apparently came into play. Damon Windsor was scheduled to face IZW Impact Division Champion Angel Camacho. The music for Windsor played, but Windsor did not appear. And then, a camera came across Windsor laid out backstage, a turnbuckle bolt laying nearby and an Impact, Inc. t-shirt draped across him. It appeared that two members of Team #1 were out of the picture.
Shortly after the image of a prone Damon Windsor was shown, Impact, Inc. was shown backstage. Johnny Z said ever since the formation of IZW, Gary Tool had always used his position in the company to placate Z. Now, Tool was IZW Champion, but it was the twilight of his career. Z was scheduled for a match with Tool that night, but he wanted to ensure that Tool made it to the Impact Camber with the IZW Title, which is why the match is non-title. But he promised Tool that he could write it in red that Johnny Z would be the IZW Champion after the Impact Chamber match on August 9.
So Tool and Z faced off one-on-one and Z came in with a simple, but effective plan: injure Gary Tool and reduce the power of Team #1 by one more person. Throughout the entire match, Z worked repeatedly on the left arm of Tool, reducing any effectiveness or power that limb had. In the end, Z went for the Big Boot in the Corner on Tool, but missed and as he stumbled out, Tool was able to execute a Sky High. But he did not have the power to make a cover and then the rest of Team Johnny Z hit the ring and Z was disqualified. That did not matter to the Natural Born Leader as he simply wanted to injure another member of Team #1, but before they got an opportunity to do so, What Wrestling Should Be made the save.
And then things got very, very interesting.
Johnny Z took the microphone and pointed out that Team #1 was down potentially two members and offered them an opportunity to throw in the towel. That brought Shawn McHale onto the Zorthotron. McHale said he will not concede and reminded Z that he had power too. And that he knew people. People with power. And one of those people with power was about to speak wit him.
And for the first time in a couple of months, Madame Co-Commissioner Erica stepped back into the Impact Arena. Erica had not been seen since leaving with Double D after Impact, Inc viciously assaulted him and put him on the shelf for at least 6 months. And Erica was very quick to bring that point up and promise that their actions to him and their unborn child would never be forgotten or forgiven. Erica said she knew it was a risk to bring Z into Impact Elite because his ego would soon make him uncontrollable. And the actions he has taken, combined with her current condition, have forced her to make a major decision: She had to resin as Co-Commissioner.
But before she left, she had two final acts: The first was to fix the lopsidedness of the Impact Chamber match. Erica knew there was a man who wanted to get his hands on Johnny Z because Z betrayed him. He is in perfect physical condition and will be a perfect replacement for Michael Barry.
Then the lights went out in the Impact Arena. And the music played as the Image of Fear, Kevin Morgan was officially reinstated to the IZW Roster! The man who once was the main disciple of Johnny Z was now is #1 enemy and his eyes never left Johnny Z as they stood at opposite ends of the arena.
The final act of Erica was to order a preview of the Impact Chamber match by having an 8-man tag team match with the assembled members of Team Johnny Z and Team #1. And for the first time, the fans overwhelmingly raised their hands and said Thank You, Erica as she departed. That 8-man match immediately took place and while Team Johnny Z was able to isolate Jordan Jacobs and put a huge beating on him, Jacobs finally made the tag to Kevin Morgan, who came into the ring to clear house, eventually focusing on Randy Price while the rest of the members of both teams brawled on the outside. Moran caught Price in the Moment of Fear and pinned him in the middle of the ring, a victorious return, but certainly not the person he wanted to get his hands on.
So now, Team #1 is certainly at 4 members and possibly at 5, assuming Damon Windsor is cleared to compete on August 9. All of the plans of Johnny Z seem to have backfired and the Natural Born Leader will have to come up with something new if Z is to do as he has promised and walk away with the IZW Championship.
It is, quite simply, the most violent match in IZW. And that violence will almost certainly reach new heights when these then men collide for the IZW Title.
