Sting Talks Contract Status With TMZ
Posted: Jul 17th 2014 By: TMZ.com
A TMZ article today had Sting saying that he wants to sign a deal with WWE so he could wrestle against Undertaker at WrestleMania this year, noting at his age (he'll be 56 when WrestleMania comes around next year) it's now or never.
The story said he has signed a p.r. deal with the company so he could be a character in the video game.
That aspect of the story is not true. Sting has no contract as of this moment with WWE, although the sides have been in talks for months.
"They are confused, he has a 2K deal," said a WWE source.
