Gallows Strives To Live Up To Brother's Memory At Annual Crow Show

For Drake Gallows, its always been about topping his previous accomplishments.
Since the summer of 2011, when his brother Crisstopher Crow passed away unexpectedly in an auto accident, allows as participated in one show at SWCW that is in his brother's memory. And Gallows knows that at that show, its always important to put on his very best performance in honour of his family.
In 2011, Gallows competed twice, being one of the last two men in a 22-man Gauntlet Battle Royal for the SWCW All-American Title. That title ended up being held up as he and then-SWCW Champion Kevin James Sanchez both hit the floor at the same time. Gallows would go on to compete in the main event, a Fatal 4-Way/6-Sides of Sickness Match against Sanchez, John E. Stone and Rick Russo. Stone came out victorious in that match. It was the last time that Gallows did not win at his brother's memorial show.
In 2012, Gallows would enter the main event in the match that made his brother famous in the Underground Arena: The Barbed Wire Casket Match. It was a match that Crow could not win, but Gallows was victorious over SWCW Hardcore Champion Kareem Sadat and took that title from him.
2013 saw one of the most brutal matches in SWCW as the SWCW roster competed in a 3 Stages of Hell Match for the Sure Shot Briefcase. The match came down to Gallows and Maniac Mike. Both men left massive amounts of blood and sweat on the mat as they fought for the briefcase which would guarantee one of them an opportunity at any title, any time within one year. Gallows somehow survived and captured the briefcase, which he would cash in almost 9 months later to capture the SWCW Title.
So what to do for 2014? Well, since Gallows was no longer a regular participant on the SWCW roster, he wanted to do something a little more personal. Since his brother was one of the founding members of Nemesis, Gallows decided to call another founding member out of retirement in the form of Damien Morte. This was not about a title. This was not about a grudge. This was two friends putting on a tremendous display in the ring in a No Holds Barred Match to see who was better that night. This battle saw both men bruise, beat and batter each other, with action spilling outside the ring to the announce table and the floor area all around. It took 3 Emo-Killers on the part of Gallows to put Morte down, but that finally happened and Gallows again stood victorious, staring at his brother's picture hanging above the entrance to the arena Crow called home.
Impassioned as ever, Gallows took the microphone as the rest of the locker room surrounded the ring and thanked the fans for coming out and supporting SWCW, for supporting his family and the memory of is brother. Through Gallows, the memory of Crow lives on forever. And Gallows has gone on to become a level of performer and man that may not have been possible if not for the motivation of his brother's memory.
