Amelia?s Law was passed by the Tennessee Senate and House in March of this year. Amelia?s Law is named after Wayne ?Zeb Colter? Keown?s 16 year old granddaughter who was killed by a drunk parolee fleeing from police back in 2012. Zeb posted an update on Twitter last week "#ameliaslaw IS NOW OFFICIAL. LAW GOES INTO EFFECT JULY 1ST. THANKS UNIVERSE FOR ALL THE SUPPORT. TRULY APPRECIATED. @WWE.

Ric Flair finally went to Pittsburgh, PA for the medical tests that are required before he can return to WWE as a regular TV character again. Flair passed those tests so he should be back on TV soon.

The family of the late Ultimate Warrior, wife Dana, and two kids Indiana and Mattigan, were present at the non-televised live event in Rio Rancho, NM on Sunday. They visited backstage and posed for photos with WWE Superstars and Divas and were then given front row seats for the show. Both girls were sporting Warrior t-shirts in support of their dad. ?When WWE invited us to be their guests at the Rio Rancho show I was scared to go, it felt too soon,? wrote Dana on the Warrior?s Facebook page. ?Still my Warrior girls insisted and for them I'll do anything! Our warrior spirit got us there and our WWE family took us the rest of the way. Such a special night we will always remember. Our house may not feel like home without him... how lovely backstage at WWE still did.? Since the tragic passing of Warrior back in the beginning of April, the WWE has helped the family in more ways that you could imagine, including sending two senior staff members to live with the family to help out in anything they need till they adjusted to their somewhat new life. WrestlingDVDNews.com reports that WWE issued a fan council survey last week seeking feedback on 30 potential new three-disc DVD sets. Among the potential projects were "Inside the Rivalry - Hulk Hogan vs. Roddy Piper". The survey also included 11 potential concepts for match compilation sets including Junkyard Dog.

FoxBusiness.com has a new article up with Jeff Jarrett, which would be some serious mainstream coverage for Global Force Wrestling. Jarrett was asked rumors of Mick Foley joining GFW and would not confirm or deny them. He said he is getting a lot of interest from veterans, rookies and everyone in between. Jarrett also responded to skeptics who say WWE?s stock plunge is a sign that interest in wrestling is plummeting. He said ?I?m not nervous at all. Investors may be disappointed but the increase in rights and TV fees speaks volumes as to how much interest is in the wrestling world. If you want proof of how big wrestling is, just look at Hollywood. The Rock went to Hollywood and came back to the WWE 10 years later as the hottest actor in the world. At the recent Cauliflower Alley Club Reunion in Las Vegas, NV last week, Terry Taylor was awarded The Iron Mike Award, Michael Hayes was awarded The Lou Thesz Lifetime Acheivement Award, and Melissa Anderson (AKA Cheerleader Melissa) was awarded the Ladies Wrestling Award.

Brian Blair is the new President of the Cauliflower Alley Club as Nick Bockwinkel has stepped down due to health reasons at the age of 79.

Lacey Blindbury, former pro wrestler Lacey Von Erich and daughter of Kerry Von Erich, finished 4th runner up at the Mrs. California United States 2014 Pageant. Blindbury was in the pageant as one of two contestants representing Ventura County, as Mrs. Thousand Oaks. She was also the winner of evening gown portion of competition and won the People?s Choice Award. The People?s Choice Award was open to public voting, and 50 percent of the money raised through public voting was donated to Blindbury?s charity of choice, Big Brothers & Big Sisters. Blindbury, a loan transaction coordinator, said she will compete again next year, and that she will continue to stay actively involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters, the national mentorship organization.
