WrestleMania Headliner Fabricates Facts On Former Pro Wrestling Promoter? WWE Allegedly Not Happy With Him

WWE Legend "Rowdy" Roddy Piper seems to have made a statement that may have upset some people in professional wrestling. On his latest episode of "Piper's Pit" Piper commented that he never worked Bill Watts Mid South Wrestling Territory, claiming that Watts only paid the top main event talents and gave envelopes to every other wrestler on the card saying ?You should be honored just to get to work on a card like this? and did not pay them at all.

Dave Meltzer commented on Piper's statement about Watts, in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, saying.

"That?s complete B.S., as in it never happened."

On an episode of Legends of Wrestling Roundtable, which I have personally viewed, Piper made the same comment regarding Watts and Jim Ross interjected, saying that what Piper said wasn't true.

On a side not regarding Piper, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is allegedly not happy with Piper, possibly regarding comments he made about Pat Patterson on a DVD Interview. Another reason why WWE isn't impressed with Piper could be in regard to the overall Legends House promotion on the part of Piper himself.
