Former NWA World Champion Sonny Myers dies at age 83

Central States wrestling legend Sonny Myers, 83, has passed away according to reports out of St. Joseph, Missouri. Reports indicate Myers died on Saturday. Myers was a 5 time NWA Texas Heavyweight Champion, a 14 time NWA Central States Heavyweight Champion, and a former NWA World Heavyweight Champion. Oklafan would like to extend our deepest condolences out to the friends of family of Mr. Myers.
