Gods Plan To Make Believers Out Of MSWA Competitors

Gods Plan To Make Believers Out Of MSWA Competitors

Posted: Apr 5th 2014 By: CMBurnham

Since reinventing themselves in MSWA, IZW Tag Team Champion Bobby Starr and SWCW Tag Team Champions The Syndicate have brought a new, focused determination to be the top faction in the company. Now it appears that they have targeted the owner of the company. But they wont be fighting him by himself.

On March 9, The Gods were victorious in their respective matches. Bobby Starr pulled out a victory over IZW Impact Division Champion Drake Gallows and The Sanders defeated The Greenhorn combination of Spike and Kenny. After the tag team title victory, Bobby Starr took the microphone and made a cryptic comment that they were moving on to better things. At the time, no one understood what that meant, but it would soon be apparent.

After intermission, Mark Wilson came to the ring and went on a tirade about how he was tired of dealing with Bad Boy. He had beaten Bad Boy four times and the last time Bad Boy hadn't even shown up to the match. This brought the MSWA owner out to the ring to confront the Butterscotch Stallion, but before much of an exchange could be made, The Gods appeared. Bad Boy mentioned that he had been unable to be at February Fallout because he had been attacked from behind the night before and hit in the head with something that put him in the hospital. e declared that the object in question was probably Bobby Starr's sceptre, which had been vital in Starr's victory over allows earlier that show. Bad Boy didn't care about the odds and took on all of the Gods, but it wasn't long before they had him down and were putting the boots to him. And then, a surprising return as Glen Steel came running from the back came to the rescue of his friend. The reunited Patriots stood tall as the Gods thought better of the situation and retreated from the ring area.

Two weeks later, fortunes weren't as good for the Gods. Starr lost to allows in a rematch. But The Sanders received a tag team title shot against MSWA Mid-South and UWE Tag Team Champions The K. C. Wolves. The Wolves were victorious when they hit the Bad Moon Rising and pinned one of the Sanders. But after losing their title opportunity, the Sanders wanted to prove that they were not someone to be overlooked and, together with Starr, committed a 3-on-2 post match attack until the Patriots once again came to the ring to drive them away.

It seems obvious that an in-ring confrontation will eventually happen between these two teams. And while the Sanders may believe that the presence of Bobby Starr at ringside and their more recent in-ring activity may give them the advantage, The Patriots hope to prove that the support of the fans gives them more power than any gods Starr and the Sanders choose to believe in.
