PWInsider.com is reporting that A. J. Styles is leaving TNA Wrestling after his current contract expires next week. It was originally extended by two months. Styles has already started to accept indy bookings through his agent. Styles, who won the TNA World Title recently, has taped episodes of "Impact Wrestling" which go in early January 2014 as TNA taped a month worth of shows at Universal Studios. The title situation will be resolved by the time his last appearance on "Impact" comes to an end. Both TNA and Styles have not been able to reach an agreement on a new deal with money being the major reason this time around. Styles signed a short extension to get him through "Bound For Glory", which is TNA?s biggest pay-per-view of the year. Styles has been working for TNA since the very first TNA weekly pay-per-view and was the company?s first X Division Champion back in 2002. His 11 year stint with the company got him a truckload of titles including the NWA World Heavyweight Title three times, the NWA World Tag Team Titles four times, the TNA Legends Title twice, the TNA World Title twice, the TNA World Tag Team Titles twice, the X Division Title six times, and the winner of this year?s Bound For Glory Series. He is also the first TNA Triple Crown and TNA Grand Slam Champion.

"WWE Monday Night RAW" live from Oklahoma City took a pretty good ass whipping in the ratings last week, drawing a total of 3,541,000 viewers over the three hour show for a 2.65 rating. That number is down almost half a million viewers from the previous week?s show. Hour 1 had 3,616,000 viewers followed by 3,560,000 in the 2nd hour and then 3,447,000 in the 3rd and final hour. That is the lowest number of viewers for the show since the Christmas Eve edition of RAW of last year. Even the past New Year?s Eve show last year did a few thousand more.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Jasper Orton, the 18-year-old nephew of Bob Orton, Jr., who just graduated from high school this past year, is now under a WWE Developmental deal. He?s out with a torn meniscus.

Hacksaw Jim Duggan underwent shoulder surgery and the procedure was successful according to a tweet from Duggan himself. "All went good. More damage than they thought, but all fixed. Now recovery time,? Duggan wrote, attaching a link to his Facebook page where he has a
picture of himself in a hospital bed and arm in a sling. Duggan couldn?t afford the surgery to repair his torn rotator cuff in his right shoulder and sought the help of wrestling fans through the website Indiegogo.com. He wanted $6,500 to pay for the surgery but $10,396 was eventually raised.

Jim Cornette and Jerry Stubbs (Mr. Olympia) have been added to the Mid South Legends Fan Fest on 4/4 over WrestleMania weekend. The event will be in Chalmette, LA at the Sigur Center. There will also be a show with Mickie James vs. Angelina Love, plus a JYD Memorial Cup with Tommy Dreamer, Chris Adonis (Chris Masters), Lance Hoyt, Elijah Burke and more. There will also be a Q&A session on Mid South Wrestling with Cornette, Bill Dundee, Ricky Morton, Robert Gibson, Dennis Condrey and Bobby Eaton. Tickets went on sale at 12 noon last Friday at MidSouthLegends.com.
