Posted: Oct 16th 2013 By: mikeiles
OMNI Wrestling Alliance is pleased to announce the first two tag-team matches for our inaugural OWA Tag Team Title Tournament. The tournament is scheduled to kick off at the Sperry Baseball Academy (9900 N. Cincinnati) in Sperry, Oklahoma on Saturday, October 19, 2013.
We will be announcing all of the competitors in this tournament throughout the week beginning with our first four teams.
BROTHERS OF MAYHEM vs. CIA 2.0
Brothers Of Mayhem were the first tag team to earn a slot into the 8 team elimination tournament. The duo consists of Malice, a longtime ring veteran, and his protege Menace. The team are looking for their first taste of championship gold.
CIA 2.0 is a team that have been making a name for themselves throughout the region. The Canadian International Alliance includes Trevor Mapleleaf and The Canadian Luchadore.
IGNITION & PATIENT ZERO vs. MICHAEL WOLF & STEVEN STERLING
Leave it to an OWA original to throw us a curve ball. Unleashing total chaos, Ignition & Patient Zero will be making their tag team debut. We've contacted everyone we know and information on Patient Zero does not exist. We'll all have to bear witness to what's in store.
OWA Junior Heavyweight Champion Michael Wolf & Steven Sterling bring a level of excitement to the field, as they are extremely popular with the crowd and one of the favorites to go for the gold.
Announcements regarding the other teams competing in this tournament, will be made throughout the week. The format for this tournament will see teams competing at OMNI-4 and OMNI-5 with the final championship match taking place at OMNI-6 in December.
Also schedule to appear : Canadian Red Devil, Sam Stackhouse, Maddox Jones, Jake O'Brien and more.
