Angelo Savoldi, the world's oldest living professional wrestler, passed away this Friday at the age of 99. Savoldi, whose real name was Mario Fornini, began his wrestling career in the 1930s, and became the first American to ever main event in the Puerto Rican territory, before moving back to the states and becoming a five-time NWA World Junior Heavyweight Champion. At the end of his career, near the end of the '60s and into the '70s, he worked for WWWF and was a minority business partner in the company.
With Savoldi's passing, WWE Hall of Famer Mae Young is now the oldest documented living professional wrestler on the planet, at 90-years-old.
