Rocco Valentino seriously injured

TPW commissioner Rocco Valentino was the victim of a heinous attack at the hands of Bernard Funk and Timmy J last Saturday night.

TPW Tag Team Champion Justin Lee had just defeated K. J. when Timmy and Bernard came to the ring and proceded to doubleteam Justin, culminating with the Texas duo giving him the Texas Spike piledriver. At that point, Rocco entered the ring, screaming at Bernard to back off of Justin. Rocco reminded Bernard that it was only because of the commissioner?s good graces that he was still in TPW, given his behaviour at the last show. He told Bernard that Justin was a friend and insisted that Bernard leave Justin alone. Bernard seemed to agree, but as Rocco was turning to go check on Justin, Bernard and Timmy attacked Rocco from behind. They then delivered not one, but two spike piledrivers, leaving Rocco motionless in the ring. Finally, TPW Tag Team Champion Michael Faith and TPW Champion Romero Contreras came to the ring to clear off the Texas Longhorns.

Our sources have told us that Justin is out for a minimum of three weeks and Rocco is out indefinately. Rocco has wrestled professionally for over nine years and the toll on his neck and back coupled with his being semi-retired for the past two years has led to what is believed to be severe damage.
