Morgan Hopes Newfound Aggression Is Key To Victory

Morgan Hopes Newfound Aggression Is Key To Victory

Posted: Aug 8th 2013 By: CMBurnham

This Sunday, MSWA puts on the biggest show in its history: Mid-South Aggression.

Aggression has been the key word for Kevin Morgan. He will face MSWA owner Bad Boy in a Stretcher Match and both men hope a victory will put a capstone on their feud.

Its been a very personal war between the two. Morgan has physically involved Bad Boy's father and insulted Bad Boy on a personal level. On July 27th, that verbal altercation became physical with both men coming to blows in the middle of the ring. Morgan removed himself first and appeared to be the less sure of himself even though he mimed pushing Bad Boy on a stretcher and winning the match.

But perhaps what Bad Boy is not aware of is the influence of MSWA Mid-South & IZW Champion Johnny Z. Morgan is a member of Impact, Inc. and Impact Elite and Z likes to consider himself the Natural Born Leader. Recently, Z has also emphasised the idea that he is the saviour of wrestling in Oklahoma. And as such, he is beginning to act much like an inspirational leader. At the IZW event July 26, Morgan suffered a loss to Double D. After apologising to Johnny Z in the back for his loss, Morgan was told that the problem was that no one feared him. Johnny Z inspired Morgan to go out and make an impact. And that is exactly what he did. During the Triple Threat Ladder Rematch for the IZW Impact Division Title between Copycat, Phoenix and champion Drake Gallows, Morgan made a surprise appearance, climbing a ladder and taking the championship belt, then walking to the back with it.

This newfound surge of confidence could certainly be a detriment to the plans of Bad Boy. Come August 11, it will take a lot of aggression to come out victorious in their bitter grudge match.
