Twitter user KidkashHolt asked TNA president Dixie Carter "will there ever be another tna video game for ps3 Xbox etc and is there any chance you could sign Bill Goldberg?" She answered "I hope so! Our first game sold over one million copies worldwide. We are hopeful we?ll find the right partner for another video game soon. And regarding Bill, he is a great talent. We would love to work with him one day."

Bill Goldberg was on WQAM radio in Miami, FL on Friday. He said that he keeps himself in shape and is open to coming back. Bill is now 46 years old. He said he's more open to it because his son watches his matches on YouTube, and wouldn't mind coming back as a heel. He thinks Ryback is a total rip off of him but has no ill feelings for the guy. But he does have bad feelings for Scott Hall.

Michael Kingston is doing a Kickstarter program to fund a "Headlocked" graphic novel as an indy comic. The book would have art from Jerry Lawler, Mr. Anderson, Beth Phoenix, and Sinn Bodhi and stories from Shane Helms, Rob Van Dam, and Christopher Daniels. For more info, click here.

Friday notes from the Mid-Atlantic Fan Fest in Charlotte, NC: Tully Blanchard & Magnum T. A. did a Q&A which went almost three hours and was never boring. They talked about their I Quit Match, getting started in wrestling, Magnum being Tully's children's stepfather and more. There was also a Jim Cornette Q&A talking about how Cornette and Sandy Scott went to California to make the deal with Rick Rubin to start up Smoky Mountain Wrestling. Tom Prichard, Jerry Brisco, and Tully Blanchard were watching matches at the convention. Steve Corino and Tammy Sytch were there, as were Bobby Eaton, Tommy Rich, D-Lo Brown, Drew Hankinson (AKA Luke Gallows), Barry Windham, Kendall Windham, and others.

Saturday Notes from the Mid-Atlantic Fan Fest: Tons of people at the Fan Fest, a list that is endless really. Larry Weaver and Tammy Sytch were the MC's. Gerald Brisco inducted Danny Miller. James J. Dillon talked about how hard it would be to follow Brisco, and inducted Les Thatcher, noting Les has done everything in wrestling and even though he stopped wrestling in 1980, he never retired from wrestling. Thatcher's first pro wrestling match was July 4, 1960. Sytch led people singing "Happy Birthday" to Bob Caudle. Lars Anderson was inducted by Gene Anderson's son Brad. Lars said he was able to help start his son's T-shirt business with the money he made as a pro wrestler. Tully Blanchard inducted Magnum T. A., saying how he beat the odds, and nobody ever expected he would live this long after he severed his spine. Magnum talked about how his life changed in the blink of an eye in 1986. "There's a lot of adversity in life, but nothing worth saying I Quit for." Jerry Jarrett inducted The Rock-N-Roll Express, The Midnight Express, and Jim Cornette. He said YouTube enables people to see wrestling from all over the world and from every era. He said Bobby Eaton was one of the best workers to ever work in Memphis. He talked about how Cornette would get so much heat as a photographer that he figured he'd be money as a manager. Jarrett said that when Cornette asked him how to act as a manager, he told him to just be himself. They played a video of Stan Lane, who wasn't there, because he was announcing a boat race in Florida. Ricky Morton thanked everyone. Robert Gibson didn't say much. Cornette said The Rock-N-Roll Express had more sex on the way to the ring than he would get in years. Eaton actually gave a good speech. Cornette thanked Thelma Cornette (his mother) and Christine Jarrett for his career, and thanked Morton & Gibson, saying because of them, people still talk about The Midnight Express today. Sytch did a very good job as MC, and was very prepared. She noted that Cornette taught her everything she knows about wrestling. They showed two hours of the nine hour Crockett Promotions documentary. Among those interviewed were Jim Crockett, Jr., David Crockett, Jackie Crockett, Jim Cornette, Ron Garvin, Jimmy Valiant, James J. Dillon, George South, and Tully Blanchard. Jim Crockett, Jr. said the downfall of the company was ultimately his fault. David blamed it on Dusty Rhodes. Lots of footage from the 60s and 70s. I was told this was worth going out of your way to see.

Former wrestling promoter Corey Maclin died in a one car accident in Panola County, MS. Maclin was a former partner of Jerry Lawler in wrestling feds in Memphis, TN.

Oklafan extends its condolences to the family and friends of Dutch Savage. Savage was a mainstay in the Pacific Northwest area. He bought out Sandy Kovacs for control of the promotion in Washington and also held 1/3 control of PNW until 1980 when he sold his interest and retired. He held the PNW Title 7 times and was a 12-time PNW Tag Team Champion. He also held the Canadian Tag Team Titles 12 times. Dutch competed in many other places, including TSW, where he held the US Tag Team Titles with his adopted brother and trainer, Luke Brown. Dutch had 9 documented Oklahoma appearances. The first on January 9, 1970 in Oklahoma City, where he defeated Red McKim and the last on March 20, 1970, where he lost to Bill Watts.
