Stackhouse Uses Pie In Formula To Regain SRPW Title

Get it back.
That was Sam Stackhouse's goal ever since losing the SRPW Title to Kid Krazy on December 5, 2012. Get it back.
But the ever present obstacle in his was SRPW Tag Team Champion Ray Martinez. And when Martinez won the SRPW Title from Krazy on March 9, it gave Sam even more reason to focus on "The XXX-ican".
Martinez had been a constant thorn in Stackhouse's side for the first half of 2013. He had used his valet Selena to manipulate Stackhouse's emotions around Valentine's Day. He had defeated Stackhouse & Bobby Burns to win the SRPW Tag Team Title with Tommy Toops, denying Stackhouse the opportunity to regain the SRPW Title. And he gloated. And bragged. And proclaimed himself the greatest SRPW Champion ever.
Stackhouse has never been much of a talker. He prefers to do his talking in the ring. And with SRPW establishing themselves in a new venue, Sam wanted everyone in the Oakhurst area to know that Ray had been ducking him for 6 months. So Sam came out and made that very clear, interrupting The P.I.N.K. Nation's opening promo. Sam insisted that Ray defend the title if he was the best champion in the history of the company. He even offered to compete in one of Martinez's specialty Hardcore matches. It seemed at first that Ray was going to decline, but something made Martinez change his mind. Maybe he thought the presence of The P.I.N.K. Nation at ringside could be helpful. Perhaps he believed Stackhouse was injured. Whatever the reason, Martinez accepted and the main event was set.
Before the main event, Martinez had to suffer the humiliation of having pies thrown in his face as part of a fundraiser for the Oakhurst Fire Department. So he was certainly not in the best of moods when he arrived for his title defence. Martinez immediately targeted Sam's knee, trying to keep Sam from maintaining a vertical base. Since it was a Hardcore match, Martinez brought an ironing board into the ring. But that backfired as Martinez was put through it with a Sky-Hi. Chief Mike came out to try and even the sides, bringing a table to the ring. He and Tommy Toops then battled to the back, but Toops returned only to be evicted from the ring by Stackhouse. Martinez and Stackhouse then fought up to the 2nd rope, where Ray pushed Sam off and through the table. But Martinez did not immediately go for the pin, which allowed Keebler to come into the ring and deliver one more pie to the face. Stackhouse then caught Martinez with a Black Hole Slam and pinned the champion for the title.
It took the better part of 7 months, but Stackhouse fulfilled his goal to regain the SRPW Title. Now, he has a new goal: to become the best SRPW Champion ever. Or at least a better champion than Ray Martinez.
Some would argue he has already achieved one of those things.
