Starr Stomps Way Towards Becoming Dual Champion

ComPro Showtime Champion Bobby Starr may call himself the Brass Bull, but the material that Starr is more concerned with appears to be gold. In FACT, he is going to extraordinary lengths to try and ensure that championship gold comes to him and stays with him.
Starr's rise to championship status in ComPro began May 3rd with a post-match attack on then champion Steven Sterling. This sent a clear message that Starr was to be taken seriously and a rematch was signed. Both men put on displays of great technical prowess in their efforts to walk away with the gold, but it was obvious that Starr was not going to be able to outwrestle the champion. So Starr abandoned the quest for the title and simply focused on inflicting pain and punishment, starting with a low blow and ending with a shot to the head from the scepter, earning Starr a DQ loss. But Starr was not finished inflicting punishment. He then pulled out a pair of clippers and proceeded to shave Sterling's mustache! This act of humiliation turned Sterling into an irate madman (after he recovered consciousness and discovered what had been done to him) and one more match was signed.
Sterling probably was not preoccupied with the Showtime title by this point, but the stipulation on the title is that it MUST be defended at every ComPro event. Obviously, Starr was aware of this and cleverly took advantage of the rules to buy himself time and turn the tide in his favour. When Sterling came to the ring, he was only thinking about revenge. Starr remained his typical calm, devious self and was able to roll Sterling up and use the ropes for leverage. The end result: a new ComPro Showtime Champion.
Starr's issues with MSWA Oklahoma, OWA and ComPro Champion The Canadian Red Devil have been documented in other articles on this site. But things have certainly escalated since the announcement of a Ladder Match for the Oklahoma Title at Mid-South Aggression on August 10th. Starr's personal aggression issues towards the man he calls the Red Scorpion reached new heights this past Sunday. Starr was victorious in the opening contest against Jason Kirby by forcing him to submit to a Boston Crab. Later on the card, CRD defended his Oklahoma Title against Angel Camacho. It was a tough battle for The Devil and it appeared that he might be on the verge of losing the belt when Camacho slipped while going for a top rope splash and CRD got a quick pinfall. After allowing CRD a moment to soak in the approval of the crowd, Bobby Starr attacked him with a ladder. With a viciousness heretofore unseen, Starr used the ladder to attempt to crush CRD's knee and ankle, making it impossible for him to climb the ladder and retrieve his title on August 10th.
The Canadian Red Devil's injuries were severe enough to put him out of action for at least 2 weeks. And that must make Starr feel superior, as once again he has gotten inside the head of an opponent. Starr longs to be a dual champion and with tactics like these, The Brass Bull may soon be calling himself the Dual Champion.
