Rick Steiner Returns to the Soo

What the Dog Faced Gremlin witnessed turned his blood rabid.
"Dog Faced Gremlin" Rick Steiner had hoped his return to the Michigan Soo last night would be peaceful.
An accomplished amateur wrestler with the University of Michigan and a former WCW U.S. and WWE tag-team champion, Steiner dropped by the Superior Wrestling Alliance (SWA) card at the Michigan Sault's National Guard Armory to scout the UP's up-and-coming professional wrestling talent.
What he saw instead was Sex Factor (Michael Barnes, Kevin Baker and Matt Longtime) slamming fans from the UP and Northern Ontario as a bunch of inbred hicks, as well as triple-teaming SWA owner Big Daddy T.
So Steiner enlisted the help of UP wrestling legend Mike "Bastian Booger" Shaw, rushed to the ring and showed the nasty trio that his bite was still as bad as their bark.
Together, Steiner, Shaw and Big Daddy T made an ex-factor of Sex Factor.
"The fans in Sault Michigan and Canada are real down-to-earth people," Steiner told SooToday.com.
"They didn't deserve to be insulted by a few young punks with a bad attitude. So Mike Shaw and I stepped into the ring and gave them an attitude adjustment.
"I won't deny that our opponents have some real talent," said Shaw.
"But they need to learn respect for the fans and respect for wrestling. Sometimes it takes a while to learn - you need to get beaten up a little first - so we'll see where they are in six months to a year from now."
In other matches, Timmy Titus defeated Brad Hexum, while Sault Canada's Vinnie daVinci defeated Daniel Sigma and Tommy Titus in a 3-way dance.
Hatebreeder defeated Xavier Justice in a ladder match that also featured a table, a chair, and a variety of foreign objects.
The Patriot defeated Extreme Canadian Karl Karufel and 11 other competitors in an over-the-top-rope battle royal.
In a shocking prelude to the final match, Big John Holmes ended Bull Wheeler's reign as SWA heavyweight champion in a fatal 4-way that also featured Supreme Brett Powers and Viper Pete Christie.
Fans booed as Christie, one of Michigan's most popular wrestlers outside of the UP, initially joined the dastardly Holmes and Powers in triple-teaming the former champion.
However local fans warmed to Christie half-way through the match when he turned on Holmes and Powers after catching them cheating.
"I came in focused on beating Bull for the heavyweight title," Christie said. "But it became obvious that Powers and Holmes were up to something.
Christie and Wheeler challenged Powers and Holmes to face them at the SWA's next show
