Blue Beaten, Not Broken, In Conflict With Erica

This past weekend saw the return of one of the rising stars of any Oklahoma Womens division: Angel Blue.

Blue had last appeared in Oklahoma at IZW's Chaotic Christmas on December 22, 2012. She was supposed to face Erica for the title of Queen of IZW, but Erica used her position as Commissioner to substitute Venus and swerve the spunky Alaskan. It was an upsetting defeat for Blue and she returned to competing in Texas for a while. But she never forgot.

Blue arrived in IZW and issued a challenge to face Erica and this time, Erica had no way out of the match. There was certainly an issue of concern on Erica's part as she had not competed in a match for almost 8 months. Both women had plenty to prove and dug deep in their repetoires. But as Blue went for a scissorkick, Erica sidestepped and the referee was caught in the crossfire. That allowed MSWA Mid-South and IZW Tag Team Champions Jermaine Johnson & Jordan Jacobs to leave the commentary booth and make their way to the ring. Johnson and Jordan gave Blue a combination sit-down powerbomb cutter which rendered her unable to defend herself. Erica was then placed on top and the ref recovered to see and count the pin. Blue had tried valiantly, but the numbers were just too much for her.

A normal woman would have retreated from the defeat and left the area. But Blue is far from normal and did not allow this to get her down. Instead, she arrived the next day at MSWA and interrupted Erica as she was declaring herself the greatest female competitor in MSWA. Things got very personal as Blue insulted Erica's breath and ego and once again issued a challenge. Erica was overrun with arrogance when time for the match came, going so far as to use a compact and check her make-up after the match began. Once again, Erica benefited from a miscaluculation on Blue's part. With the referee knocked out, Johnson and Jacobs arrived again and hit the same move. But this time, things went much further as all three members of Impact, Inc. commenced a brutal attack on Blue until the arrival of The Syndicate. Earlier in the show, Impact, Inc. & Mark Wilson had done a parody of the Sanders Twins (with Wilson playing the part of Momma Sanders) and the brothers from Jersey wanted some revenge. Things did not play out quite the way Blue and the Sanders expected and all three had to be helped from the ring in the aftermath of the attack.

Blue seems determined to make her mark in Oklahoma and secure a win over Erica. Perhaps now that she is aware of the odds against her, it will allow her to forge a better battle plan for the future.
