Yes yes ya'all, it's.....

Ray's B-Day Mextravaganza!!!

Or the SRPW show results for 6/15 for the hillbillies.

Anyway let's start off with....

WHERE THE HELL IS EVERYONE? This is the least amount of people I have ever seen at any SRPW show. It can't be the weather like last time...Maybe a meth lab was busted. Anyway their loss! Now let's get to business!

As always these are just MY opinions (however right they might be) and don't reflect the opinions of anyone else. I also tend to curse so this is like a PG13 column. Then again 75% of the SRPW crowd probably can't read so I'm safe.

On to the show!!

* The SRPW Champ Ray opens the show and the crowd joyously celebrate his early birthday!! Well not really but they should. This man is the 'Top' guy! The Heavyweight Champ! He has a stable that hates breast cancer! Why the hate? Even though he's to braggart, he's also the first guy to win the SRPW triple crown (Heavyweight, Tag & US Titles) with his big tag win at the last show. But he's graciously allowing the duo of Triple T - Tommy Toops & Luc to be the champs! After an always engaging promo out comes....
Magic Matt Majestic!! I'm torn. I'm an out of the closet Matt fan but I love the Breast Awareness Nation. Curse you SRPW! Ray informs us that our first match is in fact....

* Matt Majestic vs SRPW Tag Champs Toops and Luc in a handicap match! Luc starts off and as always is solid in the ring. I once called him the 'Arn Anderson' of the group and I stand by that. Great in ring worker and a great mind. However things are WAY off as the champs simply are not getting along. Tommy acts like he'd rather be at home watching Toddlers & Tiaras and is basically making Luc carry the weight. A in ring confrontation between the tag champs leads to a roll up and an upset win for Matt! Woooooooooo!!! But now the champs are fighting. Ray attacks Luc and just like that, The PInk Nation is a house divided. Oh and somehow Tommy is the tag team champion. Then again we have a guy as the womens champ so I'm obviously thinking to much into this. A sad start as Luc is booted from the group but gets a match against Ray later in the evening for his trouble. A Streetfight baby! Loser leaves SRPW. Dun Dun Duuuuuuun.

* Two newbies as Diamond and Sean Pearl hit the ring and now the Prince song is stuck in my head. Not bad for two guys who look pretty green inside the ring. Diamond takes a shot that busts his mouth open at some point and Pearl eventually tastes defeat. On a side note, the girl with Pearl (heh that rhymed) looked like a complete crack head. But I don't judge. I leave that up to people like 2Pac

* Kyle Everlast & Chief Mike put the beat down on Daemon Storm & Glitch. First off...Glitch!? THAT's the best name you can come up with. Ugh. Also I'm pretty sure both these guys are midgets. Good to see Everlast back, however it makes me miss Robbie Awesome. Chief Mike? Meh. Still don't care. I know he's trying and I'm glad he's doing something he loves, but the crowd is pretty indifferent to him. The fireman gets the pin and we move on!

* Bobby Burns, Psycho Sawyer & Sam Stackhouse beat Roberto Romero, El Martillo & Malice. Wow I haven't seen Malice in some time. Good to see Psycho back as well and it has to burn that he lost the tag title without ever being in the match. Oh well. Sam carries the workload and I wonder for the 20th time why we still haven't seen him go for the Heavyweight title. It's MONEY baby! Roberto looks good and continues his weird good week / bad week work rate. I still say it's his haircut.

* Speaking of haircuts I see Jake wandering around. He looks bored and I wonder if he wants some nifty ideas from me. Probably not. Anyway I haven't seen any sign of the ever creepy Brandon Groom so I'm not going to tempt fate by going to Jake with my awesome booking ideas. Plus he's pretty busy trying to get the AC going. Good luck with that champ.

* Kid Krazy!! Man have I missed him. I also miss the KC Wolves. And Robbie Awesome. Geez I'm needy. Anyway he gets a hearty pop from the crowd and he wrestles a guy from like moose knuckle Alaska. I'm kinda disappointed as the guy (Static? Extract? Geez I gotta start witting this crap down) is NOT an albino as he was billed to be. Very solid match and my favorite thus far. Lots of stiff kicks ala ROH or Japan, and some good chain wrestling and counters. A minor flub at the end but no matter, it's hot as hell and the ropes have to be covered in sweat. Krazy gets the win and the non albino guy (who looks all of 12 years old) made a great showing of himself.

* The Syndicate take on the CIA! Pretty sure JB tweaked his wrist in the opening minute of the match but not 100% sure. Those wrestlers are sneaky folks, but it sure looked like he might have a wrist sprain at the least. While a solid match, it wasn't as fun as their Tag Tornado match a little while ago. Poor Mapelleaf eats four great suplexs and basically gets his ass kicked. But man he can bump like crazy. The Syndicate win and this ongoing war between Jersey and Canada continues!!

* Quick though, I wish there were a cruiserweight title or something for the 'smaller' guys so they could show off. I mean, what's one more title? Cody never defends the US Title and the womens title is on a dude. Then again I'm a mark for crazy cruiserweight wrestling if done correctly. That means take your time, make sure your moves are crisp and don't land on me when doing a dive over the top rope.

* Jonah Turk takes on SRPW Womens Champion B-Arthur!! It's the match of the night....buuuuuuuut not really. Oddly I actually think Turk lost a ton (no pun) of momentum when he left the Golden Alliance. Arthur is at his classic entertaining best, man boobs and all. Turk wins and Arthur has to live with that shame forever.

* Man first the Golden Alliance dies off and now the Pink Nation is in trouble. Hard to be a mark for the heels when this kind of stuff happens. I blame Obama obviously.

* Now the main event as SRPW Heavyweight Champ (and almost birthday boy) Ray Martinez takes on Luc Lapointe in a non title street fight where the loser leaves SRPW. Luc, a former SRPW Champ in his own right take sit right to Ray and the duo battle all over the place. They tease a table spot but alas, it's not to be. Actually it's less of a street fight and more of a grudge match if that makes any kind of sense (I'm hyped up on sugar so it might not.) Tommy and even Selina get involved and Ray gains the pin!! Luc is gone from SRPW forever. Or as forever as wrestling goes I suppose. I'll defiantly miss him and I appreciate his work as a longtime fan. But Ray is king, and this birthday bash is one I'm sure he'll remember even if Sam Stackhouse had to ruin his fun at the end with a sneak attack.

Solid show, always good to see new talent or new faces. No idea why the crowd was so thin but they missed a hell of a show.

Speaking of awesome shows, on 6/29 SRPW will have it's last event at the Main Event Center as the company has simply outgrown it's current location. Also the Oklahoma debut of "classic' Colt Cabana!! A former three time NWA World champ and a multi time Ring of Honor Tag champ with some dude name CM Punk. Cabana will be at the 6/29 show as will a ton of other great talent (Ray obviously) so show up or miss out on HISTORY ya'all!!
