Morgan To Face Bad Boy In Stretcher Match At Mid-South Aggression

Morgan To Face Bad Boy In Stretcher Match At Mid-South Aggression

Posted: Jun 13th 2013 By: CMBurnham

The old joke goes like this: Why did the farmer hit the donkey in the head with a 2x4?

To get his attention.

Kevin Morgan certainly had the attention of MSWA owner Bad Boy. He had acquired the attention of Bad Boy back in February during a Last Man Standing match. Bad Boy had been victorious in that confrontation and believed the issue between them was over. But like that annoying little pet, Morgan pressed the issue and the result was a First Blood Match at Mid-South Meltdown. Both men fought all over the arena, pounding each other with lumber, trash cans and anything else they could find. It seemed that Morgan would be able to even the score between the two blood enemies when Morgan slammed Bad Boy into the corner post. Unfortunately for Morgan, this was after he had knocked out the referee. At that point, Damon Windsor, who had not been in MSWA since February Fallout, came out from the back, grabbed the ring bell and slid into the ring. Morgan received an up-close and personal view of the bell as Windsor slammed it into the forehead of Morgan. He then dragged Bad Boy from the ring so the reviving referee would not see the laceration on his forehead. But the blood dripping down the forehead of Morgan was obvious and once again, the Image of War had been bested.

So, in the opening confrontation between Impact, Inc. and Double D, The Syndicate and Bad Boy at the last MSWA event on June 2nd, Bad Boy declared that he was done with Morgan and had nothing left to prove. But he did announce that he had arranged for a special opponent to face Morgan that afternoon: Havoc! And when that match occurred, it was a battle of two me who are accustomed to being the strongest man in the match. Lots of power moves from both competitors were on display, but it was Morgan who ended up victorious after a thunderous chokeslam. But that was not enough for the angry giant as he continued to pound and pummel Havoc until Bad Boy arrived.

Morgan quickly turned his attention to Bad Boy, challenging him to a Stretcher Match at Mid-South Aggression. Initially, Bad Boy refused, but after continued assault on Havoc and a heated verbal exchange between Morgan and Bad Boy, the MSWA owner accepted and the match was set.

Morgan has had two opportunities to prove himself the superior competitor against Bad Boy and has been unsuccessful in both. A Stretcher Match may be the final chance for Morgan, but it will also be the most difficult as it requires a competitor to incapacitate his opponent to the point where he can be placed on a stretcher and wheeled to the backstage area. Morgan must be desperate to propose this level of match. How dangerous will that desperation make him?
