Texas Gold!

ComPro Tag Team Champions Texas, Inc. (Tim Rockwell and Bernard Funk) continued their reign of terror by winning another federations tag team titles when they became the first ever Sooner World Class Tag Team Champions.
On March 17th, Texas Inc. won the SWCW Tag Team Champions by outlasting seven other teams in a Tag Team Battle Royal. To win the match, Rockwell and Funk last eliminated James Warbois. However, Funk had been eliminated earlier in the match and was sitting at the end on the entrance way watching Rockwell hold his own in the match. Rockwell tossed Warbois over the top but Warbois held on to the top rope in an attempt to "skin the cat". While Warbois was holding on to the rope, Rockwell and Outlaw locked up and Rockwell threw Outlaw into the ropes that Warbois was holding and Outlaw went over the top. Warbois had inadventently eliminated his own partner. That left just Rockwell and Warbois as the legal participants. At that time Funk sprung to action and entered the ring although he had been eliminated. Together Funk and Rockwell worked over Warbois and delivered a spike piledriver before dumping him over the top rope to seal the victory.
The fans booed and complained to new SWCW Commissioner Mike Iles as the night ended. When contacted earlier this week, Iles said "Although Bernard Funk had officially been eliminated earlier in the match, the rules of the Battle Royal were no disqualification, so Funk assisting Tim Rockwell, while not neccesarily admirable, was within the framework of the match and rules set forth in that match. Therefore I have no choice but to let the victory stand."
After the match while Funk, Rockwell, and their manager Big Stevie Caballero paraded around the ring with their newly won belts, Outlaw came back to ringside to help his partner. As they were leaving, Outlaw kept looking over his shoulder and smiling at Texas Inc. So while James Warbois is added to the ever growing list of wrestlers that Texas Inc. have given a spike piledriver, his partner Outlaw may be in cahoots with Funk, Rockwell, and Caballero. Could Texas Inc. be in negotiations for a third member?
In addition to their recent title win, Texas Inc. can also celebrate the fact that they will be getting an NWA-U Tag Team Title match against Mass Destruction (Spoiler 2000 & The Bounty Hunter) at the April 14th NWA-U show in Wagoner. Is it possible to have an Oklahoma Triple Crown winner yet again?
