Last Monday night after RAW was over, Michael Moody, one of the sons of Paul Bearer, went on Facebook and wrote that what happened at the end of RAW was totally different than what WWE presented to him and his brother just days after their father died. ?If anyone is wondering, yes WWE did come to us wanting approval for tonight?s storyline. The way it was presented to us was ok. Seeing it on screen was a different story. I don?t even know what to say,? Moody wrote on his Facebook. The angle he was referring to was when CM Punk attacked the Undertaker with the urn and then proceeded to empty the urn on Taker and rubbing the ash on himself. WWE today issued an alert to several websites which includes a transcript of the text messages that Michael Moody sent to WWE. WWE stated that they are using the text messages with his permission. ?Hey. I woke up in time to watch the tail end of the show. What you explained would happen happened. Which is fine. Just it was a little difficult to watch it play out,? Moody wrote in his message to WWE. ?I put a message on Facebook last night saying that we approved it but it wasn?t what I envisioned. That I didn?t have anything to say. Well woke up this morning and that quote is being used all over 'media outlets'. For the record. I was fine w it. Was hard to watch but y?all are professionals and I trust,? he concluded.

The "desk" show that WWE.com did with Dusty Rhodes, Jim Ross, Kofi Kingston, etc. prior to and after WrestleMania is scheduled to be part of every PPV going forward.

Ric Flair was not a part of WrestleMania Axxess as planned Thursday due to the death of his son Reid. Flair was scheduled to be at Axxess from 7:30pm onwards as part of the VIP Autograph Session which was sold out. WWE did not give refunds and replaced Flair with The Undertaker. He was there till 9pm. The Undertaker was also scheduled for Friday's session between 6pm and 7:30 and was the only one doing double duty at the VIP signings. Anyone who purchased VIP tickets for Flair was able to use their existing VIP ticket for the Undertaker session.

Hundreds of friends, family, and wrestlers attended the 90-minute Reid Flair funeral Wednesday at the Forest Hill Church in Charlotte, NC. The Charlotte Observer reported that the funeral featured words of remembrance by his sister, girlfriend, and two-time Hall of Fame father. "I want to make sure he knows this turnout isn't because of me, it's because of who he was him and who he affected," said a subdued and visibly shaken Ric Flair in a more than 10-minute speech about his son. During the funeral service a 17-minute video slideshow was played showing Reid throughout the years on vacation, wrestling, and with his family. TNA President Dixie Carter wrote on Twitter that she was in Charlotte for Reid's funeral. "Just landed in Charlotte. Headed to Reid Flair's funeral. Please keep @RicFlairNatrBoy in your thoughts and prayers today." Flair worked for TNA for a couple of years before departing the company. "Thoughts and prayers are with Ric and his family," wrote Hogan, who was not at the service. It is not known if any from WWE attended the funeral due to the busy WrestleMania schedule, but it's a safe bet that there were some representatives from the company for sure.

Mike Mooneyham posted on Facebook "Ric Flair arrived at the WWE Wrestlemania motel tonight. It?s been the worst week of his life, but it?ll do him good to be around the boys."

WrestlingObserver.com reports that regarding Ric Flair hanging with the guys, he felt he would rather be around friends and this is where his friends were.

Larry Zbyszko did attend the Hall of Fame ceremony to see Bruno Sammartino.

The WWE Hall of Fame ceremony kicked off with the induction of the hardcore legend himself, Mick Foley. After the fantastic tribute video, Terry Funk came out for the speech which ended with him pulling out an envelope for the "nominees", all four of them, which were Dude Love, Mankind, Cactus Jack, and Mick Foley. Foley came out to a loud ovation and did a few comedy spots. He thanked several people including Jimmy Snuka, Jim Ross, Randy Orton, The Rock, and The Undertaker. Foley talked a bit about that Hell In A Cell match against the Undertaker and put over Ross for his contribution to that match. The highlight of Foley?s speech came when he said that he never managed to beat Chris Jericho and expressed his wish to at least drop an elbow on him. Jericho rushed to the stage and laid down on the floor as Foley prepared to drop an elbow. CM Punk then joined in on the fun and acted as the referee as Foley hit the elbow, followed by a three count by Punk. During his speech he mentioned he wished Santa Claus was there and after he wrapped up, Santa Claus came out and gave Foley a jacket as Christmas music was played in the background. Foley?s speech went almost an hour and was the person who spoke the longest.

-Foley gave props to Undertaker. Says often when facing Taker, he & ?Uncle Paul? (Paul Bearer) would show their goosebumps to each other at ringside.
-Foley said he never beat Chris Jericho. Camera goes to Jericho and he mouths ?Not once!?
-Foley?s speech was roughly 35-40 minutes.

The Honky Tonk Man announced on his Facebook page that he has signed a new multi-year WWE Legends deal, allowing WWE to use his likeness in merchandise as well as task him with appearances. ?I am honored to be back with the WWE and am very excited to be teaming up with WWE again for some more Shake, Rattle and Roll,? the self-proclaimed greatest Intercontinental champion of all time said. ?Never say Never in #WWE,? he later added on Twitter, a phrase that many, if not almost all, for WWE Superstars say whenever they leave the company. Honky Tonk Man wrestled for the WWE between 1986 and 1991 and then moved to WCW for a few months in 1994 before returning to do sporadic appearances for WWE in 1997. He still holds the record of the longest reigning Intercontinental champion ever in the WWE, lasting one year, two months, and 27 days, before losing it in 30 seconds to The Ultimate Warrior at SummerSlam 1988.

Among those signing autographs at WWE Axxess were Terry Funk, Ivan Koloff, Sika of The Wild Samoans, Mil Mascaras, Harley Race, Larry Zbyszko, and Jim Duggan.

Mil Mascaras was in town to see WrestleMania with his brother Dos Caras, who is also the father of Alberto Del Rio.

Jake Roberts and Dallas Page were in New York during WrestleMania weekend. Perhaps this could lead to Roberts being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame next year.

Jake Roberts was at the WWE hotel and looked great. He was completely lucid, lost a ton of weight, and only had a slight limp when he walked.

WrestlingObserver.com reports that Grizzly Redwood has been fired by Ring of Honor. This came from the incident at last week?s house show in Asheville, NC where Redwood knocked the cap off the head of Charlie Haas, who then struck him with an open hand. Haas was fired/quit after the incident, abruptly announcing his retirement from wrestling.

Impact Zone Wrestling debuted on The Combat Network at 1am this past Sunday morning.

A gentleman by the name of John Chapman apparently thought ahead of time and filed for the United Kingdom trademarks for both Mid-South Wrestling and Universal Wrestling Federation. Last Friday, he received a cash settlement from WWE since they want to market their UWF and Mid-South tapes in the U.K.
