Ric Flair Arrives in New Jersey for WrestleMania 29 Weekend

Over at F4Wonline.com, Dave Meltzer notes that two-time Hall of Famer Ric Flair, along with his girlfriend, has just arrived in New Jersey for the WrestleMania 29 weekend.
This development may come as a surprise to many.
After all, it was only a week ago that Flair's beloved son Reid was found dead in a motel room in Charlotte, N.C., in what is one of the year's most tragic wrestling-related stories. Indeed, the death of the second-generation star, who was just 25 years old, sent grief and shock through the entire wrestling community.
Unsurprisingly, Flair cancelled several upcoming appearances with various indie promotions. As WrestleZone notes, Flair was also scheduled for this week's Axxess, something that seemed up in the air following the tragedy.
The legend had been scheduled for an autograph appearance yesterday, but WWE announced on its official website earlier this week that he had been pulled from the show. The site wrote: "Unfortunately, Ric Flair will not be able to appear at the WrestleMania Axxess VIP Autograph Session on Thursday, April 4 at 7:30 p.m. However, we are pleased to inform you that The Undertaker will appear at this VIP Autograph Session."
So, what can we make of Flair's arrival in N.J? Well, presumably he won't be doing anything major. He may make a short appearance at one of the upcoming Axxess shows, if he feels up to it. It's also possible he won't do anything and is just there to enjoy the show and take his mind off of things.
Of course, some critics will say that Flair does not need to be around WWE right now.
But really, at this vulnerable time, isn't it better for Flair to be in WWE's hotel right now surrounded by people who love, respect and admire him? The company is certainly a good support network for him at a time when he may desperately need one.
