Bobby Eaton Takes Care Of Hollywood Troubles

Bobby Eaton Takes Care Of Hollywood Troubles

Posted: Feb 14th 2013 By: CMBurnham

Pro wrestler Bobby Eaton made his way to Hollywood Tuesday morning to clear up legal troubles more than 10 years old.

According to Hollywood Police Chief Jason Hepler, Eaton pleaded guilty to a 2002 DUI in Hollywood Muncipal Court. Hepler was unclear the details of the pleading.

"He came in from Arkansas and was real apologetic," said Hepler.

In 2002, Eaton, originally from Huntsville, was arrested by Hollywood police on the DUI charge on his way to a wrestling event in Scottsboro. A warrant was later issued against Eaton after he failed to appear for his court date.

Hepler came across the warrant last month, along with others that have been sitting there for years, he said.

Eaton rose to fame as part of the legendary tag team Midnight Express. In the world of pro wrestling, Eaton has always been considered a good guy in real life.

Hepler said the wrestler, now semi-retired, seemed like a good guy.

"He was real nice to everybody," said Hepler.

Hepler said Eaton's family saw stories about the wrestler's Hollywood troubles and contacted him. From there, Hepler said Eaton made arrangements to take care of the charges.
