Foley Happy With Reduced Role

Foley Happy With Reduced Role

Hardcore wrestling legend Mick Foley has revealed why he rejoined the WWE after a lengthy stint with rival company TNA.

In an interview on Monday Night Mayhem, Foley revealed he is content with a reduced role that only sees him appear on TV on special occasions.

He said: ?One of the main reasons I wanted to come back to the WWE was because there are so many ways to make a contribution to the product without even being on the show.

?I didn?t have any expectations to be an on-air personality, anything I get to do on the show is a real bonus for me. I?m happy with whatever comes my way.?

Foley also commented on strong reports that he will be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2013, which takes place the day before WrestleMania.

He added: ?I am pleased to see the rumour I started has gotten so far. I love the idea that people are talking about me being inducted next year.

?It is a really big deal and it would be even more of one if it happened at Madison Square Garden.

?It seems like such a good idea, but I don?t call the shots and there are many other guys who did better in that building than I did. They should get the call too.

?But if it was offered to me I would certainly accept it, although I won?t be bitterly disappointed if it doesn?t happen.?
