Mick Foley appeared at Santa's Village in Jefferson, NH last Saturday for a signing of his new Christmas book, A Most MIZerable Christmas.

Ric Flair has been removed from the TNA roster page.

The Wrestling Observer has confirmed with Ring of Honor officials this week that Jim Cornette is "officially on sabbatical" from the promotion. According to the report, Cornette "blew up" at the last television tapings in Belle Vernon, PA and was not scheduled to attend the December 16th "Final Battle" iPPV. The report states Cornette became very frustrated with how some things had been going both inside and outside the company and had used wording that was described as being "stronger than one would expect to get away with" in a company now run by the Sinclair Broadcast Group. Sources within ROH felt Cornette had been burnt out. Hunter ?Delirious? Johnson, who remains the booker of ROH, will be replacing Cornette for the time being to assist in the production of television.

Black Bart posted an update on his situation on Facebook "Well I did ask and you did pray, let me tell you God is listening. I have felt his comfort ever since I asked for prayer. When I asked God ?How are we going to afford this?? He answered that too. He led people to give. I never expected God to answer like that, but He did and we are so close to having what we need. So if all goes as guestimated it will be covered. If it cost more, they will send us a bill and I can try to work overtime to cover it. Or trust that God will provide, so when I pay the bills, the money will stretch. I just want to say Thank you to God. I also want to Thank each and every one of you for your gifts. None were too small, from the smallest prayer to those who opened their hearts and wallets. I am over whelmed and humbled by your kindness. Now that my tear ducts are completely clean, maybe I can keep a straight face when I pay the bills. If there is ever anything I can do to help anyone in the future, I pray that God helps me to be there and do whatever He leads me to do. I will pass on the love and kindness. Thank You again."

Harley Race is among the 15 inductees for the Missouri Sports Hall of Fame for 2013. The induction will take place on January 27, 2013. Other inductees include former baseball players David Eckstein, Mike Sweeney, and Scott Bailes, former football players Tony Richardson, and Conrad Hitchler, former basketball players Kim Anderson, Joe Scott, and Dale Russell, Track & Field coach Tom Rutledge, Volleyball coach Linda Lampkin, football coach Dave Palmeiro, former sports broadcaster Ron Jacober, sports physician Dr. Richard Seagraves, sports museum entrepreneur Jim Chappell, the Track & Field program at Jefferson City High School, and Special Olympics of Missouri.

The "Shahs of Sunset", reality show about rich Persians in Los Angeles that airs on Bravo, had its season premiere this past Sunday night. There was a dinner party where a bunch of girls were taking shots at one guy. He lost his temper and threatened to "Ric Flair all these motherf***ers." and made a motion like he was going to start throwing chops. This broke out into a big fight with the cast members and continues in next week's episode

During a recent episode of "4th and Pain", hosted by former pro wrestling announcer Chuck Carroll and Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker, they had Redskins linebacker London Fletcher as a guest. The 35 year old Fletcher said his favorite wrestlers growing up were Ric Flair, Dusty Rhodes, "Hands of Stone" Ronnie Garvin, and The Road Warriors (Hawk & Animal). He said "I used to sit around on Saturday morning and wait for wrestling to come on,? he recalled. ?I used to scream all through the house and my mom and my aunt would tell me to shut up!" Oklafan extends its condolences to Michael Snap, who's sister passed away this past Thursday.

Oklafan extends it condolences to the family and friends of pro wrestler Seann Stopp who passed away on November 27th at the age of 43. Stopp wrestled in several feds in Oklahoma including Sooner Pro Wrestling and United Wrestling Entertainment, where he was the company's first and only Regional Champion. He also competed using such names as CY-5, The Pentium, and Mr. Ooh, La, La.

Oklafan extends its condolences to the family and friends of pro wrestler Buddy Roberts, who passed away on November 29th. Roberts is best known for his membership in the tag team The Fabulous Freebirds. As a member of The Freebirds, he held the MSW Tag Team Titles, the NWA Texas Title, the WCCW World 6 Man Tag Team Titles (6 times), and the WCCW Television Title. Prior to his run as a Freebird, Roberts teamed with Jerry Brown as The Fabulous Blonds and they held 14 tag team titles together in both the AWA and NWA. Roberts was 65 at the time of his passing.
