Jessi Sends a Message That She's Not Going to be a Victim

She's been beaten, punched, slapped and curb-stomped. And she's had enough. Saturday night, Jessi Jersey struck a blow (literally) for herself and sent a message that she was no longer going to be pushed around by the wrestlers in SWCW.
Much has happened for the young woman who still hasn't officially completed her first year of competition. Jessi was primarily the ring announcer for SRPW in 2005 & 2006. She had done a couple of matches at an outdoor event for SRPW in 2004, but didn't seem to be leaning that way in her wrestling career. But when she gave up her job as ring announcer to challenge Lily McKenzie for the SRPW Women's title, Jessi entered a world where she has repeatedly been abused. And she expected that to an extent. But not the way it's recently been happening.
At the XUW show on February 3, Jessi's innocence was taken advantage of by members of the P.I.N.K. Nation, especially Luc Lapointe, who lured her into the ring with the chair she had to hold off outside attacks. This caused Jessi's friends, Trailer Park Trash, to get disqualified, but after they left the area, Jessi was suckered into shaking Luc's hand and was given a curbstomp for her troubles.
At the first SWCW show on February 11, P.I.N.K. Nation struck again as the numbers game was played and Beau Dalton ended up showing Jessi the hard side of the mat. Again, Jessi's trusting nature was taken advantage of and more abuse was suffered by the pretty girl from Jersey City.
But things were about to take a different course in Oklahoma City last Saturday, although it appeared that it was going to be business as usual. TPT challenged ComPro Tag Team Champions Texas, Inc and Jessi did her best to counter the antics of Big Stevie Caballero at ringside while J. C. & K. C. kept up with Bernard Funk and Timothy J. Rockwell inside. Everyone in the arena was surprised though when P.I.N.K. Nation members Beau Dalton, Luc Lapointe, Paul Linam & Ray Martinez made an entrance through the crowd and grabbed Jessi, restraining her so that the Texans could give one of the TPT twins a spike piledriver and secure the win. At that point, the numbers became overwhelming as Texas, Inc. plus P.I.N.K. Nation entered the ring and another spike piledriver was given while a general beating of TPT at the hands of the combined masses occurred. Jessi recognised overwhelming odds when she saw them and quickly retreated to the back, perhaps hoping to find someone to help her rescue her friends. But that wasn't enough for the men from Cancun, Mexico as Beau Dalton went to the dressing area and dragged Jessi back to the ring, throwing her in and motioning for P.I.N.K. Nation to surround her. It looked like Jessi would once again be the victim of an assault at the hands of Luc Lapointe, but something rose up in her and she decided to strike first. And strike she did, nailing Luc in crotch and quickly rolling out of the ring, leaving the other P.I.N.K. Nation members to tend to their fallen comrade.
Texas, Inc. showed no signs of sympathy at the plight of P.I.N.K. Nation and left shortly after the telling blow was delivered.
It seems that Jessi has now found her place in the ring and it's not too soon. She is scheduled to compete against AACW Women's Champion Lily McKenzie this Saturday in a rematch for NWA-U. The two competed last December against each other with Jessi gaining the win by DQ. Perhaps this time things will be different for her. If not, she might be able to gain a measure of revenge on March 17, as she and Lily will be competing in IZW's first Women's match.
