Jerry Lawler made an appearance last Tuesday night before the "WWE Friday Night SmackDown!" television tapings started in his hometown of Memphis, TN. His broadcast partner Michael Cole welcomed back Lawler at the top of the ramp who got a nice standing ovation from the fans. Lawler realized that he is very lucky to be standing there and had a few people to thank, first, Michael Cole, who was the first person to realize that something was bad and started the process to save his life. The second was Mike Sampson, the WWE doctor who is always at ringside ready to jump in when needed. Lawler credited Sampson for saving his life as it was him who started the CPR and chest compressions when Lawler went down. The King said he feels fantastic and doctors told him that he will be making a full recovery and is looking forward to returning to "Monday Night RAW". WWE.com has the exclusive footage of Lawler's return, which was not scheduled to air on SmackDown. You can see the video by clicking here.
Jim Ross posted on Twitter last Wednesday "Getting minor, oral surgery this am. Will be more incoherent today than usual. No travel until Sunday to Jersey 4 Raw Monday. #OU-#KU SAT."
WWE will be releasing a new Brock Lesnar DVD on Tuesday. It's mostly the same as the original Lesnar DVD that was released years back and included Brock Lesnar vs. Leviathan (Batista) and Lesnar & Shelton Benjamin vs. Rico Costantino & Prototype (John Cena) from OVW television in 2001. Other matches are a handicap match against the The Hardy Boyz (Matt Hardy & Jeff Hardy), singles matches vs. Jeff Hardy, The Rock, Rob Van Dam, Hulk Hogan, Randy Orton, The Undertaker (both a regular match and Hell in a Cell rematch), Kurt Angle, Cena, Kurt Angle (Iron Man match for 60:00), Rey Mysterio, Big Show, and Goldberg. The Blu-Ray will include a singles match with Ric Flair, the Extreme Rules match this year with John Cena as well as a 2002 match from Melbourne, Australia, before 55,000 fans in a three-way against Triple H and The Rock.
SilverVision, the company in charge of producing WWE DVD and Blu-Ray discs for Europe, has released the 90 second trailer for the upcoming "nWo: The Revolution" video release which will be out on November 6th in the United States. This will be a documentary style feature with people such as Arn Anderson, Sean Waltman, Kevin Nash, Dusty Rhodes, Booker T, and other personalities who were involved in the nWo era, all interviewed. The nicely-done trailer shows the rise of the nWo but then shifts to the Hogan/Nash "match" that Hogan won after poking Nash which is described as the beginning of the end for the nWo angle. You can see the trailer by clicking here.
The Miami Herald is reporting that WWE has officially reached a deal with Ene Watts, the ex-wife of Mid-South Wrestling owner and WWE Hall of Famer "Cowboy" Bill Watts, to purchase an estimate of 1,200 hours of video footage from the Mid-South Wrestling and UWF tape library. Terms of the deal were not disclosed. This deal has been in the works for months and word is that every time WWE passed them a new contract, there was something in there that the Watts family didn't like so they backed off. Ene Watts had secured the tape library in the divorce with Bill Watts many years ago and she and Bill's son Micah Watts ran a website that sold copies of MSW and UWF shows. However, as of this morning, the website (UniversalWrestling.com) was still up and running and the welcome page says "The ONLY Official Source for Mid-South Wrestling, Power Professional Wrestling, and UWF Universal Wrestling Federation."
The November issue of Muscle & Fitness, with Dave Bautista (former WWE Superstar Batista) on the cover, has articles on Bautista, David Otunga, and Mark Henry. They also rank the ten best pro wrestling physiques as John Cena, The Rock, Paul Orndorff, Bill Goldberg, Hulk Hogan, Rick Rude, Triple H, Superstar Billy Graham, Scott Steiner and Ultimate Warrior. They also list the five worst physiques as Dusty Rhodes, Yokozuna, George Steele, Abdullah the Butcher and Haystacks Calhoun.

Goldberg is apparently "killing with kindness" regarding Ryback. He recently was a guest on radio show "4th & Pain" hosted by Washington Redskins defensive end Adam Carriker and weight loss champion Chuck Carroll. While on the show, Goldberg said "I'm flattered that throughout his rise people have been chanting my name. I don't think it's a knock on him whatsoever. I take no offense to it. To be compared against a guy right now who is (on top), who hopefully will be a major superstar for these guys is kind of flattering. For people to still be chanting my name six years, seven years, eight years removed from the business--that's a huge honor. Any comparisons in the positive note is an honor for me." You can see the video of the radio show by clicking here.
KayfabeCommentaries.com will be releasing "Breaking Kayfabe: Lanny Poffo" on DVD on October 30th. A trailer can be seen by clicking [url=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ze5vXN4ZXg]. In the trailer, Poffo talks about being contacted by WWE about inducting his brother Randy Savage but Poffo turning down the offer.

Bruce Pritchard & Al Snow were at the Asistencia Asesor?a y Administraci?n television taping in show representing TNA.
PWinsider.com reports that TNA reached out to Ric Flair to appear at their Hall of Fame ceremony as a speaker, but he turned them down.
The George Tragos/Lou Thesz Hall of Fame in Waterloo, IA announced Wednesday that their 2013 induction class will be Ric Flair, Cowboy Bill Watts and the late Chris Taylor. The Hall of Fame is for pro wrestlers who came from the ranks of amateur wrestling or were noted tough guys (since Harley Race didn't compete in amateur wrestling but was inducted and there may be others like that). The induction ceremony will be July 12th and 13th. Taylor, who weighed about 420 pounds, was a two-time NCAA champion and Olympic bronze medalist in 1972 who wrestled for a few years. He was a genuine celebrity from the Olympics and one of his first pro wrestling matches, against Mad Dog Vachon, aired on ABC television's "Wide World of Sports".
Aeda Ocal posted on Twitter "Ric Flair, Chris Taylor, ?Cowboy? Bill Watts enter Tragoz/Thesz Hall of Fame in Iowa in 2013. I look forward to hosting for a 2nd time!"

Oklafan extends its condolences to the family and friends of Mike Graham who was found dead in Daytona Beach, FL on Friday morning. His father Eddie Graham and his uncles Jerry Graham, Luke Graham, and Billy Graham were wrestling stars in years past. Mike himself was a star in Florida and had been a member of the panel on several WWE onDemand "Legends of Wrestling" roundtable discussions. Mike was 61 at the time of his passing. Multiple sources have said that death of Mike Graham was due to a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head. His father Eddie also took his own life by shooting himself.
WWE release a statement on Mike Graham's passing "WWE is saddened to learn of the passing of Mike Graham, 61, son of legendary promoter Eddie Graham. While never under contract with WWE, he was part of our extended family. The sports-entertainment world lost a beloved member today. WWE extends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends."
