livE Your DREAMS, Face Your NIGHTMARE
And The Nightmare's Name is KEVIN STEEN!
Earlier this week, Rob Dimension dropped a bombshell when he announced that he secured the services of former NWA, ECW, WWE Intercontinental and WCW United States champion The Franchise Shane Douglas for the DREAMS Project event on Sunday, September 23rd in Birdsboro, PA.
Officials and even other wrestlers scrambled to find the man that could face Shane Douglas in not only a one-on-one contest, but a FIRST TIME one-on-one battle, and they found that man: ROH World champion Kevin Steen.
Right before this press release, manager Rob Dimension was asked what he thought. We were surprised that the normal weaselly manager was calm.
"This is opportunity knocking at our door." said Dimension, "I may just have to call my friend Jim Cornette and see if there is any extra incentive in destroying Kevin Steen. Maybe the ROH World championship???"
As of this moment, this bout is NOT for the Ring of Honor World championship, although Rob Dimension claims that he has texted Jim Cornette to ask permission. DREAMS Project producer, Curt Lemon, said that if Ring of Honor would sanction the title match, he would be more than happy.
"We are very honored to have ROH talent such as Delirious, Grizzly Redwood, Steve Corino, and now Kevin Steen on our DREAMS Project event. I think the fans are going to get a great show from a very talented locker room. In fact, Kevin Steen will be available before the event for a exclusive autograph session!" said Mr. Lemon.
